He narrowed his eyes and said, "Back then, you had Jerry Sean watching your back. In Capital City, nobody dared mess with you. But now Jerry Sean''s dead! The Sean family won''t give a damn about you anymore. What gives you the right to challenge me..."
Before he could get the words out, he felt a cold chill run down his spine.
He spun around and saw Mason Raymond standing right behind him.
"You... you''re Mason Raymond?" The young man stammered, trying to keep his cool.
I put my hand on his shoulder and grinned. "Let''s find somewhere else to talk."
The guy seemed to smell trouble and immediately yelled, "I know you''ve got some moves, but listen up—I''m Maynard Suzanne, one of the Four Young Dandies of Capital City. If you darey a finger on me—"
"Smack!"
Before Maynard Suzanne could finish his threat, his body went flying through the air.
"Maynard Suzanne? Four Young Dandies of Capital City? What kind of bullshit is that?" I stared at him coldly.
Maynard scrambled back to his feet, his voice shaking with rage. "You''re nothing but a lowlife martial artist! How dare you hit me! You... You''re gonna pay for this!"
I walked toward Maynard one step at a time, saying as I got closer, "I remember how Jerry Sean wiped out the Damon family in one night. Today, I''m gonna follow his lead and make the Suzanne family vanish."
My voice wasn''t loud, but it rang in everyone''s ears.
"Make my Suzanne family disappear? Hahaha! You''re just some nobody martial artist!" Maynard Suzanneughed, pletely clueless about the danger he was in.
I crouched down and let out a coldugh. "Go back and tell your old man—either you get out of Capital City right now, or I''ll kick you out myself."
Maynard got back on his feet, pointing at me furiously. "Fine, just wait! We''re not done here!"
With that, Maynard took off in a hurry.
The people around couldn''t help but steal nces.
Among them were business big shots and government officials, but right now, none of them dared say a word.
After chasing Maynard off, I sat down next to Mabel Sean.
"You okay?" I asked with a smile.
Mabel shot back yfully, "You''re getting cockier by the day."
I joked back, "Of course, I''m super cocky now!"
"Tsk~" Mabel rolled her eyes at me with a grin.
Just then, I felt a powerful presence racing toward us.
My brow furrowed as I whipped around to stare at the entrance.
At the doorway, several figures showed up! Leading them was none other than Garcia Coleman!
Next to Garcia were four Half-step Martial Sages, and Saumel Baton was one of them.
"Garcia Coleman..." Before I could speak, Mabel whispered the name softly.
I frowned and asked, "You know him?"
"Yeah." Mabel nodded.
"In the Second Secret Realm, he drained a lot of my blood. Apparently, he''s the heir to the Second Secret Realm and some kind of prodigy."
Hearing this, anger shed across my face.
Soon, Garcia Coleman led his group straight toward me.
"Miss Sean, have you been having fun out heretely? Do you miss those days in the Second Secret Realm?" Garcia Coleman''s eyes locked onto Mabel the moment he got close.
Pain flickered across Mabel''s face. She forced a smile, but anyone could see right through it.
"Miss Sean, don''t worry. I''ll bring you back to the Second Secret Realm real soon, hahaha!" Garcia Colemanughed mockingly.
"Bang!"
All of a sudden, I threw a punch! This time, Garcia Coleman was ready. He quickly backed up and dodged the hit.
Right away, Garcia closed the gap and stood next to me again.
"What''s wrong? Getting pissed already?" Garcia sneered.
I squinted and said, "Garcia Coleman, you really don''t learn, do you..."
At that, Garcia''s face went noticeably dark.
"Mason Raymond, don''t get cocky. In a few days, the Second Secret Realm will send a Martial Saint." Garcia shot back coldly.
I stood up and replied, "Before that Martial Saint shows up, I''ll have killed you a hundred times over."
As I spoke, killing intent poured out of my body.
"So cold..."
The killing intent swept across the whole ce instantly, dropping the temperature big time.
Garcia Coleman snorted and said, "Mason, I''m afraid you can''t kill me."
With that, he nced at Saumel Baton and the other guys beside him.
"They''re all from the Mystic Realm and they hate your guts. They''re even nning to send a Martial Saint to finish you off," Garcia said casually.
"Saumel Baton! How can you team up with Garcia Coleman!" Elena Green couldn''t help but snap angrily.
Saumel Baton looked at Elena and said coldly, "We have mutual interests."
"You!" Elena pointed at Saumel, shaking with rage.
I chuckled coldly and said, "Not bad, not bad at all. Saumel Baton, once I break into the Martial Saint Realm, the Baton Family will be first to go."
Even though it was just a simple statement, panic shed across Saumel''s face.
The panic onlysted a second, but it didn''t get past my sharp eyes.
"Mason, you''re just a Great Completeness Military Marquis right now, nowhere near the Martial Saint Realm. You''ll never get the chance to make good on that threat," Saumel said coldly.
I sneered, "We''ll see about that."
Saumel shut up and quietly stood behind Garcia Coleman.
Garcia raised an eyebrow and said, "Mason, you should know it''s impossible to reach the Martial Saint Realm in just a few days."
"And once the Martial Saintes out, you won''t be able to protect Mabel Sean. She''ll have to go back to the Second Secret Realm and suffer all over again."
Garcia''s tone changed as he went on, "If you really care about her, why not hand her over to me? With my protection, at least she''d suffer less."
With those words, the men beside Garcia burst outughing.
"So what''s it gonna be? Why not think it over? It''s not good to be so selfish, you know." Garcia taunted further.
"Oh, the torture of the Second Secret Realm... truly unthinkable. I tried it once and couldn''tst a minute without wanting to die."
"And Mabel Sean has to go through that kind of agony every single moment... Just thinking about it breaks your heart..."
Garcia''s taunting instantly sent me into a rage.
I felt my eyes burning with fury as I let out a low growl, my voice shaking with anger.
"You bastard... You''re begging for death!"
