Chapter 126
Third Person POV
Alpha dimir smiled faintly. “Aria Collins is your daughter, isn’t she? Why are you calling your own daughter a bitch?”
The man breathed heavily, roaring angrily, “That bitch is no daughter of mine. She has no gratitude, you hear me? NONE! I worked hard to raise this family. I brought food to the table. And what’s the first thing she does when she grows up? She fucking runs away! Take her grandmother with her to live the good life in the city. She never once thought about her father, the one person who gave her everything…”
“Did you ever try to contact her?” Alpha dimir asked. “From what we know, Aria isn’t doing so poorly now. She’s dating a very powerful man. The most powerful, in fact. Grayson Hart, if you’ve heard the name.”
The man’s face showed greed, but also fear. “O–Of course I know that name. Alpha Grayson…I mean, who hasn’t? I did try calling her, asking if she could spare some money for her poor father, now that she’s livingfortably… But she only answered once before changing her number. I couldn’t even reach her again. And I don’t have the money to travel to Red Stone Pack to find her…”
“Well, I see. What an ungrateful daughter,” Alpha dimir sighed.
“Can you help me contact her?” The man leaned forward eagerly. “If you can get me in touch with her, you won’t have to worry about my gambling debt. I–I could even pay you back with double interest!”
“Oh, don’t worry. Soon you won’t need me to find Aria. She’lle to you herself,” Alpha dimir said with a
smile.
“What?” The man was shocked, then frowned. “No, no, that’s impossible…”
“Because she wants to know who her mother is.”
I watched the man’s face closely.
For a moment, she caught a sh of panic in the man’s expression. Yes, that confirmed that Aria’s mother was no ordinary woman. How unfortunate.
“Oh, Aria’s mother,” the man swallowed and let out a dryugh. “Nothing much to say actually, just another ungrateful bitch… ran away years ago, probably with some lover right now… like mother, like daughter…”
“You’re the worst liar ever, Mr. Collins. We already know Aria’s mother was no ordinary woman. She came from a powerful family, didn’t she?” Alpha dimir leaned in, staring at the man’s terrified face. “She betrayed you, Mr. Collins. She left you here struggling on your own. So why are you still covering for her?”
“You… you know?” The man squirmed nervously on the couch, wiping cold sweat from his forehead. “Please… she’s too powerful, and I’m supposed to keep her secret… I don’t want trouble…”
“Oh, I don’t want trouble for you either. So I’m offering you a very good deal. If you agree to my terms, all your gambling debts will be wiped clean. How does that sound?” Alpha dimir smiled, tapping his fingers on his cane.

“In a few hours, Aria and Alpha Grayson will walk through that door. They’ll ask you who Aria’s mother really is. And you–my friend–must not tell them the truth.”
Alpha dimir snapped his fingers. His bodyguards brought over a dozen briefcases and ced them on the table.
They opened the case, and they were filled with cash.
The man let out a choked sound, looking like he might faint in joy.
“Tell a good lie, and all this money is yours. Not only that–from now on, you won’t pay a cent at any bar or casino under my name.” Alpha dimir stared at him. “How does that sound, Mr. Collins?”
“My god… yes, of course!”
The man agreed immediately, his pale face flushing with excitement. “I can keep a secret, sure. Don’t worry. When theye, I’ll tell Aria her mother was just somemoner bitch who ran away from her home. The same lie I’ve been telling her for over twenty years…”
“Oh, but I’m afraid that same lie won’t be good enough anymore. You don’t know Alpha Grayson. He’s a very persistent man. He won’t be happy with a such a simple answer.”
Hearing Grayson’s name, the man shrank back again. Clearly, the thought of lying to Grayson made him nervous, but the temptation sitting right in front of him was too strong to resist.
“Th–then what should I do?”
Alpha dimir patted I’s arm and gave a big, sly smile:
“My daughter will help youe up with the perfect lie. And my team will perfect every detail that’s necessary to the lie. The lie will be so convincing that it almost sounds like the truth. Aria won’t doubt it for a single second when she hears it…She’ll only be crushed by despair.
The man didn’t hesitate a single second. He leaned forward even more and grinned widely:
“Tell me. What’s the lie gonna be?”
