Chapter 103

    Aria’s POV

    I’s jaw dropped in shock.

She clearly hadn’t expected Grayson to call her out so mercilessly. Almost instantly, her face drained of all color, turning a pale gray.

At that very moment, I wanted nothing more than to throw my arms around Grayson’s neck and kiss him hard.

“G–Grayson, aren’t you overreacting?” she let out an awkwardugh, forcing a smile. “Your girlfriend clearly isn’t strong enough to stand beside you yet. She still has a lot to change, a lot to improve. Everything I did was just to help her because I care about you…

“Then stop using caring about me as an excuse to hurt her,” he said coldly. “You’re not her parent, you’re not even a member of Red Stone Pack. You’re just a friend of mine. You have no right to do these

    things, I.”

She clenched her fists, her body trembling slightly with humiliation. Then she forced out a bitter smile. “So that’s it? You’re just going to trample over everything I did for you like that? You weren’t like this before, Grayson. What happened…”

“Let’s not talk about the past. It’s boring.” He cut her off impatiently. “If you still think all the harm you caused Aria was somehow good intentions, then I’ll take her away right now. And I don’t think we should see each other ever again.”

He wrapped an arm around me and turned to leave.

But Otto’s hoarse voice suddenly stopped us. “If… if you want that girl to leave here and then die, fine, go. I won’t stop you.”

    Grayson froze.

He turned his head and gave Otto a cold, razor–sharp look. “I’m already sick of your fucking lies. I can see you never intended to treat her seriously.”

“The phone andbor issue is one thing. But beyond that, I really have been treating her. I swear to the Moon Goddess!” Otto growled. “In fact,e with me to the medical room. I’ll show you the results after her first session.”

Grayson’s grip on my hand tightened, his brows furrowed.

    I looked at him nervously.

I knew he was still hesitating. Otto was the best healer in the world, my biggest hope of recovering. Unless he had no choice, Grayson

wouldn’t want to give that up.

“If you take her away from here, she and her wolf will both weaken and die within two months. And her blood will be on your hands,” Otto

    hissed.

    “Shut up!”

Grayson spun around and roared, “Fine! Let’s see what kind of results you’ve got. But if I find out you’re ying games with me again–you’re fucking dead!”

Otto clutched his wounded shoulder, and I helped him to his feet.

    “Follow me,” he rasped.

Grayson kept his arm around me as we followed him out of the room. I secretly tugged at his sleeve and whispered, “I–I have a bad feeling. are you sure about this?”

His hand brushed over my head, his voice steady and Catim. “I know what you’re thinking. But don’t worry How that I’m hitch, he on th you

We stepped out of the room. And almost immediately, I froze.

The hallway was filled with Red Stone Pack soldiers. Every nurse and patient had been herded into the main hall under armed guard.

“What the hell is going on, Grayson?” Otto snarled furiously.

“Isn’t it obvious? I’ve officially taken over this ce,” Grayson replied, his tone as cold and arrogant like he was the king of this ce.

“Taken over? Are you out of your fucking mind?! Don’t you forget–this ce belongs to White River Pack!”

Grayson stepped toward him, his expression sharp and deadly. “I warned you before I leftst time. Let me down and you and your whole pack will burn to ashes. Right now, you’re already dangerously close to that scenario.”

Otto swallowed hard and took a small step back. “I–I did exactly what you

asked. Your girlfriend is recovering under my care-”

“Then fucking prove it! NOW MOVE!” Grayson growled.

Almost at the same time, every gun in the main hall turned toward Otto, like one wrong move they would blow his head up.

Otto’s face flushed red. He red at Grayson, his eyes dripping with hatred. I could tell how humiliated he was. After all, he was an Alpha too, but in front of Grayson, he was nothing. Even with guns aimed at his head, he didn’t dare fight back.

I couldn’t help a cold smile in my heart–so proud of the man I loved. Only he could make me feel this safe.

“Otto,” i tugged at the man’s sleeve. “Do what Alpha Grayson says.”

Otto stood frozen, seething. “But this is fucking too much! I’ve had enough of putting up with this damn-”

“Just do it!” she snapped, her expression twisting into something ugly. “We’ve talked about this. NOW is not the time to settle old grudges. Just focus on Aria and we’ll talk about everything elseter. REMEMBER?”

Her tone was sharp, almost threatening.

She and Otto exchanged a look I couldn’t read, but whatever it

    “…Fine,” he muttered.

I narrowed my eyes at them.

it made Otto back down eventually.

There’s something off about those two. It’s like they’re working on some n together–and I just reminded Otto to stick to it.

    …But what could it be?

Otto led us into the same treatment room I had my first session in before. The equipment I’d used was still there.

“This device stimtes your nerves to connect with your wolf,” Otto exined, tapping the screen and pulling up two graphs. “This is your nerve activity before treatment. And this is after. See the huge improvement?”

I stared at the screen suspiciously. “And we’re just supposed to take your word for it based on two random lines? You could’ve faked this

    data.”

“I don’t stoop to that kind of nonsense, silly girl,” Otto said coldly. “After your nerves became more active, I saw your wolf. She’s chained up, crying in pain, isn’t she?”

    My heart skipped a beat.

    He was right about that!

“H–how do you know that?” I stammered.

He smirked. “A powerful healer can connect with someone’s wolf and heal wounds on the neuro level. If you think I rely on machines for everything, you are wrong. I already told you–leave me, and within two shot months you and your wolf will wither away?

Suspicion rose in me. After a pause, I asked, “What about the shots? What’s in them?”

“They’re to suppress the toxins in your nerves. The form’s confidential–I can’t tell you.” His tone was arrogant.

“Hand over the form, or I’ll burn this whole building down to fucking ashes,” Grayson growled, threatening icily.

and after a long pause, he decided to back down. “…Fine, if you insist.”

Otto’s jaw clenched with rage. He red at Grave

He told us a long list of ingredients.

Grayson immediately sent it to Red Stone Pack’s doctor, and a few minutester, we got the reply-

The shots Otto gave me was indeed a form for tr

    nerve toxins.

“See? I told you so!” Otto said loudly. “I’ve been working my ass off treating your little girlfriend. I’ve done nothing wrong. And what I got in return? You barged in here and shot me in the shoulder. Don’t you think you owe me an fucking apology?!”

1 I frowned looking at them.

    1 felt even more lost.

…Was Otto actually telling the truth? Was he really trying to heal me?

And I… maybe getting me here and the hardbor was just her personal way of torturing me. And it’s not part of some bigger n?

Shit. I didn’t know what to believe anymore.

“Grayson, now you can see how hurtful this is. We clearly meant well,” I said softly, her eyes glistening with tears.

“Sorry. But you have to admit, your actions were easy to misunderstand,” Grayson said with a frown.

She sighed gently. “Forget it. I don’t want to defend myself anymore… but did it ever ur to you that maybe your hostility toward me and Otto is because…you’ve been misguided?”

“And what’s that supposed to mean?” I demanded loudly. No way was she about to dump dirt on me again.

She turned her gaze at me, eyes gleaming with malice.

“Maybe you don’t know this, Grayson, but Aria’s been making a new friend behind your back,” she smiled icily. “Our security footage caught her sneaking into the medical room–Not alone. But with another man.”

    I froze, ring at her.

    -That bitch!

“A man?” Grayson repeated, his voice dropping lower.
