Chapter 89 Amalie
We pull into a parking lot. I look in wonder at the front of the restaurant. It’s a mixture of varying thates of Mark and white. Velvet vors, a light up sigh reads. Cat finds a parking spot in the packed lex.
Once we are parked, both of my mates are scrambling out of the car like little children so they can get to say book. Mark is there first and so he opens the door. Cal smirks as he offers me his hand and assists me out of the cat, Once I am out, Mark shuts my door.
Both of my mates offer me their arm. I dly link my arms with theirs and they lead me to the door. Cal redis the link first by opening the first door for Mark and L. Once through, Cal relinks our arms as Mark then breaks the link. He holds opens the second set. As we walk through, he offers me a bow and a smirk.
I let out a giggle as Cal rolls his eyes good naturally at his brother. Mark then relinks his arm with mine and the three of us are once again linked.
We bypass the line of people who are waiting. A few people re at us, some look longingly at my mates, and some leer at me. I try my best to ignore everyone and focus on my mates.
“One moment,” the girl at the desk says, not looking up from the reservation book. When she finally does, she starts to ogle my mates. “Yes,” she says sweetly.
I want to growl as she checks out my mates. Mark kisses my cheek as Cal squeezes my hand.
“We have a reservation for three under Barlowe,” Cal says in a clipped tone.
“Oh, let’s see what we have for you two and your sister,” the hostess says dismissively at me.
I may have been sheltered for thest seven years, but I know a dig when I hear one. How she could dismiss me as their sister I will never know.
“She is not our sister,” Cal practically growls.
“Oh, I just assumed that two handsome gentlemen like yourselves would be on a double date or with your sister,” she says in a dismissive toné.
“This is our fiancée,” Mark growls at the girl.
“I’m sure one of you is her fiancée, and the other must be waiting for his fiancée,” she says with a patronizing
smile.
I’m mad and want to start growling. How could someone so rude work the front of the restaurant? Shouldn’t the
nicest person be working?
“Look, why don’t you wait until the rest of your party arrives or I get off in an hour and could join you?” the girl
says with an attempt on a coy smile.
We are now causing a scene, and I don’t care. This girl has crossed the line. I’m about to growl and jump at the girl.
Chapter 819 Amalie
“Cameron,” a sharp voice says from somewhere to the left. Cameron jumps almost a foot into the air as a very tall, veryrge manes up. “I told you that the Barlowe party was to be treated with the utmost respect,” he growls at the girl.
“But Uncle C” Cameron starts.
“I’m not your uncle here at work. I am your boss,” the boss says to Cameron. “Jasmine, take over,” the boss orders. as he pulls his niece from behind the stand.
Due to our advance hearing, we can still hear the conversation as he pulls the girl towards the back.
“This was thest straw,” he tells her.
“But Uncle Chris,” Cameron whines.
“No, you were warned, I have received multipleints from customers and workers about your behaviors,” Chris growls. “Also, here I am your boss, not your uncle. You took advantage.”
He then pulls her into the kitchen and the rest of the conversation is lost. I tune back into the conversation in front of me.
“Again, I am so sorry about her,” Jasmine apologizes. “If you will please follow Ashley, she will take you to your table.”
“Thank you,” Cal says as he ushers me forward.
Ashley weaves through the crowded restaurant and to a cozy booth in the back. “Here you go, the VIP table. And please, order what ever you want as your meal will bepensated.”
The booth is dark leather and u–shaped. I slide in first with Mark sliding behind and Cal sliding in on the other side.
“Thank,” Mark says as he takes the menus from Jasmine. She then leaves us alone at our booth.
“Sorry,” Cal whispers into my ear.
“For what?” I ask as I start to look over the menu. Each item seems veryplicated for a girl who used to make her own food from her limited knowledge of cooking.
“That this date is already off to a poor start,” Cal tells me.
I put down my menu and kiss him. “You both had no control over a bratty teenager who thought she could seduce her way into what we have,” I tell them both. I then turn and kiss Mark. “I love you both and that is not changing.”
“And we love you,” Mark says as he quickly kisses me back.
“Alphas,” Chris says as he approaches our table. “I’m very sorry for the disrespect you were shown here in my restaurant.” We can tell the man is very apologetic.
Chapter 89 Amalie
“Thank you for your apology,” Cal says.
“As I am sure Ashley has already told you, please order whatever you want. Your bill is on the house tonight for the disrespect of my worker,” he tells us. He says worker, trying to distance himself from his bratty niece.
“Thank you,” Mark says.
“Now, what can I get started for you to drink and appetizers?” Chris asks with a smile.
