When I walk downstairs to get coffee, it’s chaos. Not the usual chaos. Today, there’s an undercurrent of frustration.

    “Alphas,” Christina says, handing both of us a cup of coffee.

    “I need to do something. I’ve never seen Sylvie that angry before.”


    “Believe me, that woman has a temper,” James says. “Who is helping Haley with breakfast?”


    “Laura and Alpha Ezra. Poor guy, it’s hard enough when you don’t know what you’re doing, but with all of that going on…” she cuts off as we hear a pan mming against a counter and more cursing.
