Oh Good 80

    Chapter 80

“Maybe we can have hime up for a couple of days. It would probably help both of you. We could figure out sev- eral times over the semester when you two could get together. It doesn’t mean you could get away without working, but…” Alpha James begins.

“We would work around it, Laura. That’s a wonderful idea, James,” Sylvie says.

The rest of dinner is a bit awkward with Liam trying to find things to talk about with the others, and hoping that Mia will jump in. She watches him, frowning frequently, but she doesn’t participate.

When dinner is over, Alpha James begins by giving out coins. I’m surprised when I get one from him for giving a ‘Damn good lecture and meaningful points for consideration‘ in the Communication ss. I’m even more surprised when I get one from Liam for helping him and I’m not at all surprised when I get one for Sebastian for a great mas- sage and an even better night’s sleep.

When it’s my turn, I give Liam his first token. “For humbling yourself and asking the right questions.” I give several others, including lots to the assistants, except for Emma who still hasn’t earned any except from Logan.

When we’re done, Sebastian suggests that we meet in the ssroom again. “I want to make sure I answered any ques- tions you had about your sses before I passed out on youst night and then, I’d like to see if I can win another to- ken,” he says, grinning like the Cheshire Cat.

not to break me Sebastian,” I say, but my body is already betraying me. I can’t wait.

He leans in, his breath caressing my ear. “I promise if you shatter for me, I’ll put you back together.”

My entire body shivers and heat swirls in my core in anticipation.

“Deal,” I say to him. That same heated, possessive look is back in his eyes. Damn he’s so fucking sexy.

“See you in fifteen,” he says.

As soon as he walks away, Mia is there.

“You want to tell me what the fuck that was with Liam?”

    Sebastian

I get to the ssroom, setting up the table and turning on the heat. Then I dim the lights and wait. And wait.

It’s not like Christina to bete and I’ve just about decided to go look for her to see what’s going on when she rushes in through the locker room entrance.

“Sebastian, I’m so sorry I’mte,” she says, rushing over to the dais. I quickly get to her, giving her a hand so she

doesn’t trip on her slippers as she steps up. She’s breathing heavily and her hair looks like she yanked it out of the ponytail it was in earlier.

    “Breathe, Christina. Is everything okay?”

She takes a deep breath. “Yeah. Mia caught me after dinner. She wanted to know what was going on with Liam, so I filled her in on the Communication ss.”

“How’d she take it?” I ask her, stroking her arm as she catches her breath. She obviously ran over here and rushed to get changed.

“She was as surprised that he sat with us at dinner as I’m guessing we all were.”

“Hopefully, he’ll keep it up. You gave him a lot to think about today. For your first time, you were excellent,” I tell her honestly.

“Well, I had a good teacher,” she says.

    “Don’t do that, Christina.”

    “Do what?” she asks frowning.

“Don’t give Dane credit for your aplishments. Many Alphas have good role models and don’t do anything with it. Many have shitty role models and still excel. It’s your choice and your ability that made your response to Liam what it was.”

“Well, I agree that I did it. I just think that having watched Dane speak to our pack members in a simr fashion for years has helped me to learn more quickly.”

“Helped you, yes. Aplished for you, no. What else would you like to talk about tonight? I’d like to talk first be- cause I want to try two different things tonight.”

“Okay. Umm, how about Managing the Pack,” she says, and we talk through her questions about what urred in that ss today. I lean against the table, fascinated as always with how intelligent and intuitive she is. I guide her to finding the answers she’s looking for, rather than giving them to her and watch her think through her responses. This woman is so sexy on so many levels, and she does it without even trying.

“I think that’s it,” she says, shing me a smile.

“Alright. How about you get on the table, face up for me,” I tell her.

She moans as soon as sheys down. “Oh, this heat feels so good on my hips.”
