Wife Back 16

    Soon after, Jessica appeared

she had drunk quite a bitst night and still had a headache. She was wearing a spaghetti strap long dress and quickly ran down

    the stairs.

Like Sophie, she squatted in front of Michael, and when she saw the pool of blood on the floor, she instinctively searched for the other person in the room.

Jessica was a little taken aback when she saw Chris, then he shouted at him to hurry and call an ambnce

“It wasn’t me.” After calling the ambnce, Chris squatted down and attempted to perform simple first aid on Michael.

Even if this was Michael’s trick, as a doctor, he couldn’t just watch someone die from excessive blood loss.

Just as he was about to act, Jessica pushed him away.

“What are you doing?” Jessica shouted at him. “Chris, I didn’t expect you to be this kind of person!”

    “What kind of person?”

Chris stayed in ce, quietly watching Jessica. Actually, he really wanted to know what kind of person he was in his ex–wife’s

    eyes.

“I was with you for five years. Did I ever hurt anyone? I know you like Michael, and I willingly gave you space by initiating the divorce. Do you think I would hurt him?”

“Divorce? What divorce?” Jessica suddenly seized on that point. “You’re divorcing me just because of Michael! And you still say you aren’t jealous!”

Chris shook his head helplessly. The divorce certificate was already in hand, and now dwelling on this issue made no sense.

“He’s about to lose too much blood. I need to perform simple first aid to stop the bleeding, or he won’t survive until the ambnce arrives and will go into shock.”

“No!” Sophie was the first to object. “Jessica! This man is ruthless, he definitely won’t save Michael! Jessica, you should press down on his wound first!”

Chris watched as the two sisters fumbled to press on Michael’s wound, making the blood flow even faster. Impatient, he pushed them aside and used a nket from the couch to tie a knot on Michael’s abdomen. The bleeding slowed considerably, which should be enough to wait for the ambnce.

The three blood–covered individuals watched as Michael was loaded into the ambnce, and Sophie pointed at Chris, swearing

that he should be taken to court.

Jessica didn’t speak, staying quietly by Michael’s side.

This was what Michael had said–to not leave a trace in Jessica’s heart.

It was indeed a good method. Once Jessica thought he was a ruthless person, she would no longer marriage.

dre about their five years of

The living room floor was covered in blood. When the servant woke up, she was startled and thought Chris had been hurt, about to bandage him.

Chris tiredly waved his hand and went upstairs to wash off the blood.

After all themotion, Linda also woke up.

“Are you really not hurt?” Linda had seen everything in the room, though she hadn’t seen Michael hurt himself.

However, she was sure that Chris wasn’t the kind of person who would do such a thing. A son–inw so kind–hearted, if he had

wanted to hatm someone, Jessica would have already been tightly held by him, and there would have been no need for a divorce as soon as Michael appeared..

Chris shook his head and casually put on a coal.

“I told you, this guy is no good.” Linda was still in her pajamas, with only a shawl on, quietly watching the nanny clean up the blood on the floor downstairs.

“Back then, I didn’t approve of them being together because I saw that Michael wasn’t trustworthy. I refused to let them be together, but I never expected it toe to this point. It’s just a pity for you, wasting five years of your life.”
