    It was almost ten o’clock at night.


    Ethan Underwood stretched and yawned. “Finally got that old guy to agree. We really have to thank Ms. Adler


    for this.”


    Scarlett Adler pulled out her phone and checked it. Dead.


    “How about this? My treat. Let’s go out for ate-night snack,” East Hayes suggested.


    “Sounds good, let’s go!”


    “Yeah, let’s go,” Brent Carter agreed.


    “I can’t make it,” Scarlett Adler said. “I need to get back home. I have kids.”


    “Your younger siblings?” Ethan Underwood asked.


    “My children,” Scarlett Adler rified.


    They didn’t fully grasp the significance of the words “my children.”


    “They’re all grown up, right? They should be fine?”


    “Grown up or not, they’re still kids,” Brent Carter said, then turned to Scarlett Adler. “Ms. Adler, you should head back. We can always eat another time.”


    Scarlett Adler nodded. “I’ll head out then.”


    The three of them nodded in unison as Scarlett Adler walked toward the underground parking lot.


    “If Ms. Adler isn’t going, shall we three head out?”


    “Let’s go!”


    The three of them went straight to the entrance and hailed a taxi.


    By the time Tara Green arrived, the car was no longer there. She searched around but couldn’t find it.


    She immediately sent a message to First, “The car’s already gone.”

    Hugo Hodges arrived at Tiana Young’s house.

    “I’m driving.”

    Hugo Hodges leaned back in his chair, watching her every move, silently sipping his wine.


    After pouring the wine, Tiana Young sat down opposite Hugo Hodges. The light shone from above,


    highlighting her carefully applied makeup, making her skin look like snow, and her appearance all the more

    “So, what’s up?” Hugo Hodges asked.


    “What’s the rush?” Tiana Young replied. “Try the steak first.”


    Hugo Hodges didn’t hesitate, cutting a piece of steak and tasting it.


    “How is it?” Tiana Young asked.


    “Hmm,” Hugo Hodges nodded. “It’s good. Seems like you haven’t lost your touch, even after not making it for a


    while.”


    Tiana Young smiled. “I haven’t been making it muchtely, but if you like it, I can make it for you every day.”


    Hugo Hodges paused, ncing at her, “That’s a pity for you.”


    Tiana Young smiled, raising her ss for a toast with Hugo, who lifted his ss as well, and they both took a sip.


    The atmosphere was slowly building.


    “My parents mentioned they want to take me to America,” Tiana suddenly said. “They think I’m at an age
