“I’ve just been so exhaustedtely. I thought if I finished everything early, we could head overseas sooner and start our little world together. Don’t you think that makes sense?”
As she spoke, Judy gently swayed her arms, looking every bit like a tempting enchantress.
Keh’s expression finally softened.
He had to admit that Judy’s looks were exactly his type.
And once he got to know her, discovering her deeply self–serving nature only fueled his desire to conquer her.
A woman like this–if he could break her down and make herpletely submit to him—that would be quite the thrill.
He wrapped his arms around her waist, his smile seductive. “So, you do like me too, right?”
Judy’s eyes glinted as she traced small circles on his chest with her finger. “Of course. Do I really need to spell it out? We’re both adults here. Some things are better felt than said.”
Herst words carried a teasing lilt, her brows arching yfully.
She looked like pure temptation–deliberate and dangerous.
She knew she still needed Keh right now.
This wasn’t the time to provoke him.
There was no reason to.
Satisfied, Keh curved his lips into a smirk and scooped her up by the waist.
Judy knew exactly what wasing next, and she didn’t resist.
In fact, after everything she’d dealt withtely because of Joseph, she was exhausted.
With Keh here, it was at least a wee distraction.
So, she didn’t push back–she leaned into it.
Everything flowed naturally.
Keh carried her into the lounge, and the two quickly became entangled in deeper intimacy.
Just then, Brian approached the door, about to push it open when he heard the soundsing from inside.
He knew exactly what was going on in there.
The lounge’s soundproofing wasn’t anything impressive.
If he stood close enough, he could still hear faint noises.
Brian couldn’t quite describe what he was feeling but it was clear now.
He had been left behind.
Judy was going abroad, and though she imed it was to expand the business, it was obvious she just wanted to live happily ever after with that man.
In Brian’s eyes, developing locally was already a solid path.
Step by step, building a stable foundation was real progress.
As for the rest, he hadn’t even thought about it.
But Judy clearly didn’t see it that way.
Her ambition was far greater. She wanted more, to break through limits.
A city like this was never going to hold her.
Her heart had already flown overseas.
As long as it made her stronger, she would do anything.
It was just a body, after all.
Nothing more than an outer shell.
She knew exactly what she was doing.
But Brian couldn’t ept it.
Judy could’ve stayed. So why did she have to leave?
He lowered his head, staring at the documents in his hands, then clenched them tightly.
He didn’t know how long he stood there.
Even after the sounds inside had stopped,
Only then did he finally turn and walk away.
The others who saw him looked puzzled.
They couldn’t figure out what was going on with him.
After all, the studio was doing better than ever–hey should all be celebrating.
