After all, he was just apetitor, not a superior
There was no reason to show him any particr respect, especially not someone like him, who didn’t deserve it in the first ce.
Trying to kick someone when they’re down?
They’d nearly finalized several major deals, and now Hunt Enterprises wanted to pull
something like this? What was that supposed to mean?
Aurora touched up her makeup slowly, then headed out toward Day Light House.
It was a private dining restaurant.
Many people chose to discuss business or close deals there because of the quiet, intimate setting.
When Aurora arrived at the private room they had agreed on, she saw Joseph was already inside waiting.
The walls of the room were carved withtticework, so she could see in faintly through the patterns.
Without hesitation, she stepped forward in her heels, confidence radiating off her as she pushed the door open.
Joseph had been scrolling through his phone, waiting for a reply from Judy.
At the sound of the door, he looked up.
The woman standing there wore a form–fitting dress that entuated her curves with striking precision.
Her hair was swept up into an elegant twist, held in ce with a decorative pin.
The delicate pendant hanging from the pin swayed with her every step, as if she’d stepped right out of a ssical painting.
She was breathtaking, almost unreal.
Joseph found himself thinking of the old phrase, grace with every step,” and she embodied it in its purest form.
Not a single detail was out of ce.
Aurora, however, seemed entirely unaware of just how stunning she looked or how much impact it had.
She sat down calmly across from him, pletelyposed.
With a slight smile, she gave him a polite nod.
But Joseph was still dazed, caught in the beauty of the moment.
His eyes remained fixed on her, unable to look away.
Seeing Aurora so lively and delicate, Joseph couldn’t help but swallow hard, his Adam’s apple bobbing up and down.
Noticing this, Aurora chuckled, “Alright, snap out of it. I’m here on business today.”
Joseph’s neck flushed red at her words.
He quickly looked away, no longer staring so intently at her.
Aurora was well aware of her advantage.
Since she was meeting the stingy ex from before, why hold back? She might as well be as stunning as possible.
A woman shouldn’t hide her beauty for anyone.
Comfort and confidence were key.
Joseph cleared his throat, his eyes darting nervously, avoiding Aurora’s face.
He cast a vague gaze her way. “Well, I know you’re here to talk business. I came to the meeting
to find out what Hunt Enterprises has been up to.”
Aurora couldn’t help butugh–it was almost ridiculous. Her entire presence grew
intimidating.
Her outfit was chosen precisely to dominate Joseph with sheer presence.
“Do you think I was the one who started this?”
She shook her head. “Isn’t it your Hunt Enterprises that’s been bullying us? How many of our projects have you swallowed up in the past month?”
Joseph responded confidently, “Business is war. you can’t handle it, you might as well give it up and let someone more capable take over.”
