She hadn’t missed the awkwardness on Aurora’s face earlier–truth be told, she just didn’t want to confrent it.
But she genuinely didn’t want her two daughters turning against each other. And at this point, she didn’t even know how to fix it.
The thought alone gave her a headache.
Both daughters were really reflections of herself.

Neither of them was willing to back down.

Jason could tell right away <b>what </b>she meant.
But at the end of the day, this <b>was </b>a family matter.
No matter how much he might <b>want </b>to step in, he had no standing to do so.
When Grace noticed his silence, she started to feel a bit deted.
She had said so much, but he didn’t even respond–not a word offort and suggestion
That thought alone left her feeling utterly drained.
Why was she always surrounded by people who didn’t know how to talk?
Next time she had the chance, Grace <b>was </b>determined to do a full reset of the people around her.
“Alright, stop standing there. If there’s nothing else, go find the doctor and get my medication.”

She turned her head away, not even bothering to look at him anymore.
What, was she no longer even able to give orders to her own employees? She knew Jason meant well, but that didn’t make her feel any better.
She’d been cooped up here long enough, and she still had no idea what was going on outside.
