Chapter65
His fists itched with frustration.
Bonnic seemed oblivious to the tension between the young men, greeting them cheerfully and inviting them to sit down.
Prisci came out carrying the cutlery, immediately sensing that something was off.
She looked left and right, but couldn’t spot anything unusual about Wesley or Eldridge.
How strange.
Wesley picked up a piece of rib for Prisci. “Eat more.”
His tone was as natural as that of an ordinary married couple.
Prisci didn’t touch the rib.
Eldridge ced a shrimp on Prisci’s te. “After dinner, I’ll have to trouble you to apany me for another walk.”
Prisci agreed with a simple ‘okay‘ and ate the shrimp.
Wesley’s face immediately turned cold. It was obvious to everyone that he was unhappy, but no one cared.
Wesley took his phone and stepped outside for two minutes.
When he returned, Eldridge’s phone rang.
Eldridge answered, his expression gradually turning serious. Then his gazended on Wesley, cold and sharp.

Prisci sensed something was wrong and asked him what happened!
Eldridge put down his fork and said hurriedly, “Something’se up at thepany. I have to go back.”
Prisci got up to see him off. Remembering that Wesley had gone out with his phone, she began to suspect something.
Once outside, she asked, “Was it Wesley?”
Eldridge sighed. “It’s fine. I was nning to go back in the next couple of days anyway. But I’ll have to trouble you to keep an eye out for the person I’m looking for.”
Eldridge hade here not only for inspiration, but also to find
someone.
He was searching for a woman with a red birthmark on her face.
But aside from that feature, he refused to reveal any more information.
Prisci promised she would do her best to help ask around.
Eldridge went back to pack his things and left soon
after
Prisci stood there for a while before turning to go back, not noticing that she bumped straight into a man’s solid chest.
The next second, her waist was gripped tightly, forcing her to press up against the man.
“Wesley.”
Prisci was both angry and embarrassed.
Wesley lowered his head close to her, his voice chilly. “Is it that hard to let go?”
Eldridge had already left, yet she still stood there, reluctant to leave
Anyone who didn’t know better would think she was Eldridge’s wife,
Prisci, realizing Eldridge’s departure was Wesley’s doing, looked even less kindly at him.
“Eldridge is here to find someone. Why did you make trouble for him?”
Wesley pressed his lips together in mockery. “Find someone? He’s looking for you, isn’t he?”
Prisci couldn’t be bothered to argue and struggled to break free from his embrace.
Half a minuteter, Wesley dragged her by the wrist to a dark, secluded spot.
He pinned her against the cold wall, her wrists held above her head.
Prisci froze. After three years of marriage, she knew all too well what that look of desire in his eyes meant.
Besides, his body was pressed tightly against hers–she was all too aware of the changes in him.
He was simply…
Prisci’s face flushed with both anger and embarrassment.
“Wesley, if you’re in heat, go find another woman.”
She didn’t dare raise her voice, afraid of alerting Bonnie.
She didn’t dare raise he
Her voice was soft and hoarse, like a kitten.
Clearly, she was the weaker one, scared to death, yet still bristling with

defiance.
Wesley lowered his head and kissed that disagreeable mouth.
Maybe if he devoured her whole, she’d finally behave.
Unfortunately, they were outside, so he had to restrain himself somewhat.
Still, he had to get something out of it.
Prisci didn’t cooperate, so Wesley had to put in quite a bit of effort to get what he wanted.
He stopped before going too far, casing some of his longing.
When he let her go, Wesley was not at all surprised to receive a p.
Her eyes were red with anger and hate. Hands trembling, she straightened her clothes and then turned to leave.
But her legs betrayed her, going weak.
Wesley reached out to catch her.
Prisci pped his hand away and told him to get lost, her face expressionless.
Wesley pressed his throbbing temple. “Prisci, I came to tell you that I don’t agree to the divorce.”
Without hesitation, Prisci raised her hand for another p, but this time Wesley caught her.
He gripped her wrist tightly, yanking her into his arms, his voice low and coaxing.
“I’ve set up a studio in your name. However you want to develop it, I’ll

help you.”
Prisci didn’t care.
She wanted nothing more to do with him.
“Wesley, you know what I care about, but for her sake, you always y dumb.”
“How can someone want everything at once?”
“Is that fair to me?”
