He jumped in to point her out. “You dide to the hospital! Early this morning, around dawn, you begged me to let you see Mr. Franklin. You sounded so honest and sad that I gave in.”
His assured tone made the others doubt Erin.
Erin maintained herposure, looking genuinely baffled by the usation. “I didn’t. After I went to bedst night, I stayed put. I never came here at all.

The bodyguard froze.
