It had been a few days since thest time alpha James met with Ruby after the incident with luna


    Jasmine. He intentionally avoided her and thankfully, that woman was smart enough not to approach


    him and let the situation cooled down.


    However tonight, alpha James was exceptionally feeling down and he couldn’te to his mate for


    comfort, because Jasmine was still adamant that he had done something horrendous to their son. She


    didn’t even acknowledge her mistake at all.


    In her eyes, everyone else were at fault. Their son wouldn’t have runaway if they didn’t corner him and


    use him for something horrible.


    Jasmine believed alpha Hunter only made up story about the attack to his pack.

    talk about something else, aside from the problem with the lycan and the other alphas.


    At first, alpha James nned to ask Ruby toe seeing him in the afternoon, having a lunch like they


    used to, but when he was about to return to his bedroom, somehow his feet took him to his grandson’s


    room, in which Ruby’s room was next to it.


    That was when he heard her cry. She was crying silently in the beginning, but then her cries became


    more palpable.


    “Ruby?” Alpha James tried to call her because he was worried there was someone sneaking inside her


    bedroom. “Ruby, are you inside?”


    Ruby didn’t seem to hear him, but because of the urgency of the situation, alpha James decided to take


    an action right now, as he entered the bedroom without any sound and found her writhing on the bed,


    she looked like she was in so much agony.


    Alpha James looked around, trying to find any threats or any danger that had caused her pain, but


    there was no one inside the room, aside from the two of them.


    In that case, why would Ruby in so much pain? He couldn’t understand and then try to wake her up. He

    “Ruby! Ruby!” Alpha James called her name loudly, trying to get her back to reality, but it was not easy
