Chapter 137

    Chapter 137

Everything was within Hunter’s grasp, he had a hunch that Grace was being sheltered in Aiden’s pack,

especially after he got his hand on the spy that tried to gather more information in his pack. It had been

confirmed the spies were from Aiden.

Aiden seemed to have found more capable people to endure torture, because the three spies didn’t

seem to be able to keep his mouth shut once the pain registered to their mind.

After Hunter broke down the door, he grabbed Grace by her hand and dragged her to the main hall,

where the party was still very lively, it was about to reach the peak of midnight and everything went

south the moment Hunter threw Grace right in the middle of the room for everyone to see.

“What the meaning of this alpha Hunter?!” Alpha Jeremiah shouted at Cane, he was one of the alphas

from the six packs. His mate was standing behind him, but he stared at Cane, mortified by what he was

doing, especially when he saw how pitiful that woman. Whoever she was, who was being humiliated.

“Are you trying to ruin the party?!”

The other alphas disagreed with Hunter’s action too.

“Where is your manner!? How could you treat a woman like that?!” Alpha Zeke chimed in.

And with that, the room was filled with many peopleined about what Hunter had done, the

woman talked to each other in low whisper, making the room buzzed with their voices.

“No wonder he acts like that, he is the alpha lycan. Do you know that the lycan is a barbarous

    creature?”

“Yes, I know. But, how could he treat a woman like that?”

“I feel sorry for Lc to be with him. She must want to go back to this pack so badly.”

“Who is that woman by the way?”

And the same thing was said over and over again around the room. All of them stayed away from

Hunter, as if he was a gue and asserted their opinion about the lycan pack was a barbaric pack, who

    didn’t know any mannerism.

And among these talks, which filled with disdain, Hunter stood tall there, was not affected by what they

said, he waited for the right moment, or maybe the right person to walk into the main hall. He didn’t

need to look for him because eventually themotion would reach his ears and he woulde

    running.

Meanwhile, Lc was having her own time with luna Jasmine when both of them heard themotion

and Lc felt this gleeful feeling that Hunter’s n worked well.

“I know exactly where is my mate and I know what he is doing. Why don’t we go to see what my mate

is up to?” Lc’s demeanor changed drastically, which made luna Jasmine balled her fists in anger.

This was the timid woman that she had guided to be a perfect luna, but she became the luna

Right at that time a man came to approach Lc, whispered something to her ear. This was the guard

that Hunter had left for her, which meant, Lc has never really been alone all this time, there was this

man, who watched over her from the shadow.

“I think I should let you know where Hunter is. Why you don’te with me?” Lc said with a smile

stered on her lips. She looked very beautiful when she was being condescending like this and this

made luna Jasmine felt this uneasiness that crept in her heart.

    What was going on?

“Come,” Lc said with a grin. “Let’s meet with Hunter.”

The guard that approached Lc was Ryan, he was assigned to watch her every movement, he was a

young guard, who would be a warrior one day and this was his first important assignment from the

    alpha.

Needless to say, the young guard was impressed by how well Lc handled luna Jasmine. He was in

awed by how well she was speaking and how good she was at humiliating her opponent without even

throwing nasty words or even cursing them.

Ryan nced over his shoulder at luna Jasmine and could tell that the luna was not at all happy, she

was fuming mad and it was understandable.

Meanwhile, they walked toward the main hall where everyone had gathered around and there were

three people in the middle of the room.

    Hunter, Aiden and Grace.

Lc didn’t seem too shock to see Grace was there, because Hunter had told her he assumed the

woman sought shelter from this pack and all this time, Ken had been in contact with alpha Aiden.

“There, my mate is there.” Lc pointed her finger at where Hunter was. She didn’t approach him,

instead she stood beside luna Jasmine as if she was apanying her to watch this good show that

was about to begin. “Luna Jasmine, you shouldn’t have sheltered a criminal like Grace.”

Luna Jasmine was trying so hard to keep her expression straight, but deep down, she was boiling. Her

anger reached the roof as she listened to what Lc said.

“Do you know that Grace had tried to kill me twice?” Lc asked. “I have a scar on my back because of

her.” That was not true, there was still a little bit mark because of herst wound, but the healer in the

lycan pack said it would heal, but took a longer time, since her healing ability was not as good as the

    lycan.

Luna Jasmine looked genuinely surprised with this revtion. She didn’t know about it. “Wh- what do

    you mean?”

“Hunter is really mad at her. Her crime is not only because her father had tried to stage a coup against

Hunter, but because she herself was trying to kill me.” Lc could see the horror in luna Jasmine’s

    eyes.

But, right at that time, there was a woman entered the main hall, wailing.
