Chapter 57

    Chapter 57

Lc frowned upon hearing his question. “I am not sure what should I remember. I assure you that this

is my first time to be in this ce.” And Lc could vouch for that. She didn’t rememb why Hunter kept

asking the question, as if she had been.

    here before.

“It’s okay, if you don’t remember,” Hunter said, a smile on his face, which didn’t. reach his eyes at all.

“Do you want to go deeper?”

    “What inside?”

Hunter shrugged his shoulders. “A few snakes, monsters and spiders. If we are lucky, we can find

    some corpses.”

Lc rolled her eyes. “And what makes you think I will enjoy such sight?”

“I don’t know. Because it is hard to please you, then maybe it is because you have such peculiar taste,”

    Hunter said lightly.

He talked whatever crossed his mind and Lc wondered how he could be a good alpha for his people.

How his people respected him when he was very reckless like

    this?

“How nice you are to think I will enjoy such…”

    “Dreadful sight.”

    “…Dreadful sight.”

Lc was surprised when Hunter finished her words, he knew what she was going to say. Suddenly,

Hunter leaned over and stole a k*ss from her l*ps, which made. Lc shrieked and raised her hand to

p him for what he was doing.

However, Hunter caught her wrist right in time and pushed her back against the wall. The jarring sound

of the waterfall seemed to fade away when Lc stared into Hunter’s deep eyes. He looked very scary

    in such dimly lit cave.

Despite that, there was something inside of her that was drawn to his charm. He looked dangerous, but

at the same time, it made her wondered about the man before her. She was akin to a moth that was

    drawn to the fire.

There were so many question that roamed around her mind right now, as she was unable to

comprehend what exactly the reason he wanted her in the first ce, what kind of story he had, what

the answer for all of her question when he simply

    replied to her with ter.

“You really don’t remember anything?” Hunter asked. His voice was hoa r s e, he talked in low voice,

but somehow, Lc could hear him just fine. She stared at his l*ps and she knew what he was saying.

Lc should be mad for what he had done and howpromising their position. right now, as his b*dy

pressed against hers tightly. Her breathing became uneven, but there was something that held her

    back fromshing out.

    Her curiosity.

“What is it?” Lc narrowed her eyes, trying to see Hunter more clearly under theck of light.

“Do you really not remember anything?”

“What should I remember?” Lc frowned. She tried to search in her memories, but she didn’t even

know what she was looking for. What she needed to remember

    of?

“This…” Hunter said in the most gentle voice that Lc had ever heard. She didn’t think he could say a

    word in such tender tone.

Lc’s b*dy trembled when she felt his fingers caressing her jawline and he rubbed his nose against

    hers.

“I want Hunter spoke again tenderly, his l*ps were only a

you to remember this… breathe away from her, but this time, Lc didn’t push him away, as if she was

    being charmed by him.

“What?” Lc gulped down groggily when his fingers caressed her neck and his l*ps touched the tip of

    her fingers.

“What happened to you before you went to the orphanage in the Golden w pack,” Hunter asked, he

rested his forehead against her shoulder and his hand on her waist, trapped Lc between the hard

    rock and his b*dy.

“Huh?” Lc blinked her eyes, for a moment, her mind was clearer than before. “I don’t remember.

Without Hunter asked her to remember that, she had been trying for years to remember her life before

the orphanage, but she couldn’t recall anything before that. Her first memory was the orphanage and

    before that, there was nothing

She couldn’t remember anything from her early life in this realm. She wanted to

know what happened to her too.

“Lc…” Hunter whispered her name, but at the same time, Lc felt her heart sk i p p e d a beat when

his voice echoed in this cave. Something shed in her mind.

The way he called her, the sadness and longing in his voice…. she didn’t remember this ce, not at

all, but she remembered this feeling, this voice…

Lc heard it, someone called her in such sad tone before, but she couldn’t recall, when or where, or

    even who had called her.

“Lc… my Lc…” Hunter lifted his head slightly, he traced his l*ps against her corbones and then

up to her neck, to her chin and then her slightly ajar l*ps.

For some reason, somehow, Lc didn’t know what to do, but she didn’t want to push him away too.

She didn’t want him to stop. This was crazy, but her head was muddled, as if there was this cloud that

    messed up with her mind.

    “My Lc…”

    My Lc…

Someone had called her with such sad tone before, his voice echoed like this moment, which made her

    felt very sad.

    But, who was that?

Lc felt his warm and wet tongue invaded her mouth, as she tried to breath and hold herself back,

telling herself how wrong it was and yet, she still couldn’t stop herself.

It didn’t take long for her to k*ss him back. All the rationality was thrown out of the window. She couldn’t

think clearly when his hands were on her and without her realizing it, Lc had wrapped her arms

around his neck possessively, as if she didn’t want to let him go.

But, a secondter, Hunter withdrew from her, he took a step back, which made Lc flustered.
