Lc woke up with a great headache, almost like when she drank alcohol too much and ended up in


    Hunter’s bed, it seemed the same thing happened again right now, but the only different was; she didn’t


    drink.


    L remembered that she didn’t drink any alcohol. Knowing how much she was in misery the next day


    after she got drunk, she promised to herself not to touch that drink again, but the sensation she felt


    right now was the same.


    “Are you awake now?” Hunter’s face was the first thing that Rhea saw. He looked worried and a little bit


    pale, or maybe it was because of the sunlight.


    Lc looked around her, a little bit disoriented and then the memories flooded back into the front of her


    mind, as she gasped in horror.


    She remembered what happened to her and how Aria had betrayed her. She knew luna Jasmine must


    be behind all of this, but how could she do that to her without giving any warning?


    “It’s okay, there was nothing happened.” Hunter calmed her down the moment, he noticed she


    remembered the horrendous night. “I came in time, he didn’t do anything to you.


    Yes, Aiden didn’t manage to do the deed, but it didn’t mean he didn’t touch her, he saw her n*ked b*dy


    and this pissed Hunter off so much.


    It took some time for Lc to finally felt a little bit better and Hunter managed to reassure her that she


    was safe right now.


    “Why the healer is here?” She recognized the healer when she went away to do something, she was

    “You were drugged. I didn’t bring healer from my pack, so the only option is her.” Hunter helped Lc to


    rearrange her pillow, so she couldy downfortably.


    But then, Darren knocked on the door and informed Hunter about the meeting with the other alphas.-It-


    would happen in an hour from now.


    “Alpha James wanted you to bring her as well,” Darren said through the closed door.


    Hunter growled. “Tell to the messenger Lc is still not well to go to the pack house. Make sure


    everything is prepared. We are going to leave right away!”


    Hunter didn’t want to spend another minute in this pack. He was going to leave this pack with Lc after


    that arrogant and stupid man received his punishment. He knew that he couldn’t demand a death


    sentence, but there were still a lot of things that was worst than death.


    “Why are you going to the park house? What are you going to do there?” Lc was a little bit confused


    with This. She had not yet asked Hunter how he could find her, she was sure she was done for when


    she ended up in Aiden’s bedroom


    “You don’t need to know about this. Just rest well. We are going to have a long journey, you need to


    prepare yourself.”


    Yet, Lc didn’t want to rest, she wanted to know what was going on, or else, she wouldn’t be able to


    even


    close her eyes. More so, she just woke up, she felt better now after some time.


    “No, tell me. You need to tell me, what happenedst night and how could you find me?” Lc insisted


    for Hunter to tell her everything and despite his reluctance, Lc was pretty persistence until he finally


    relented.


    No, actually, Hunter wanted to tell her about this, but he thought this was not the right time, since she


    just woke up, yet when he saw the determination in her eyes, he knew she could handle this.


    The only reason why he wanted to tell her everything in detail was pretty simple, because he didn’t


    want Lc to have any connection or attach to the pack that had betrayed her, at the very least, not to


    the people, who was willing to harm her.

    the reason why luna Jasmine made such nasty attempt to make her son slept with Lc was in hope for


    her to stay in this pack and both of them could rekindle their mate bond again.


    Now, Hunter would crush that hope and even though it would make Lc sad and crush her, it was


    necessary to cut off any feeling she had for this pack. She had rejected him after all, there was nothing


    else between them anymore now, aside from the residue of what she thought they had


    “Are you, okay?” Hunter asked Lc tenderly, as he caressed her head. He could see how distraught


    she was right now.


    “I am fine.” The answer was curt. However, Hunter knew that she was anything, but fine. “I will go with


    you.


    “You don’t need toe with me. I will make sure he paid for what he had done to you.”


    Lc lifted her head, her face was still very pale, but there was this determination in her eyes. “No.” She

    Hunter was actually surprised by the answer that Lc gave to him, but then he was ted. He liked


    this spirit. He liked it when someone didn’t act so weak.

    Hunter gave her a condition, because there was no way Lc would be able to attend the meeting for


    long in this condition.
