Aiden felt the anger that surge within his b*dy when he watched how Lc readily answered every
question honestly. She didn’t even try to deny it, neither she tried to save herself by begging, pleading
with him not to throw her out of the pack.
Why she acted tough? She didn’t have anyone aside from this pack, what she could do if she was
really banished from the pack?
Deep down, Aiden didn’t really want to banish her, he only wanted to scare her and let her have a taste

Lc didn’t even tremble when she told them about all of this.
“You know what kind of damage that you have done for your action, right?” Alpha James looked like he
was trying so hard to keep his temper in check, because he didn’t want to escte things further than
this. He had not yet decided what he had to believe and what to do.
Of course, banishment was out of the table. He wouldn’t banish Lc over something like this,
especially after what his son had done to her.
“Why didn’t you take her to her bedroom, Jasmine?” alpha James asked his mate and luna Jasmine
startled a little when she answered that, she regained herposure quickly,
“I didn’t think much about it,” Luna Jasmine said. “I only want her to rest quickly and the room was so
close.” The answer was smooth, as if she was genuine with what she was saying and none of them
asked further about her motive.
“I thank luna Jasmine for looking after me,” Lc said sincerely, but luna Jasmine looked uneasy when
she said she didn’t need to mention it.
“We need to call alpha Hunter to clear things up, alpha James said sternly. “We need to know why you
ended up with him, since you can’t remember anything aboutst night,”
Lc could see how alpha James was trying to be just, but she was too exhausted and spent to waste
her time here for this ridiculous usation. She couldn’t care less about it. More so, it was none of
Aiden’s business anymore with whom she was sleeping with.
“I don’t think this is necessary,” Lc said in small voice, but what she said attracted attention from all
the people, especially Aiden, who was standing right beside her.
“What do you mean it’s not necessary? Don’t you want to clear your name?” luna Jasmine asked in
confusion.
“Why should I clear my name when I didn’t do anything wrong?” Lc could feel her grievances
resurfaced and the more she spent her time close to Aiden, the more she couldn’t stop herself from
being
so upset.
Before, his letter alone could bringfort toward her, but right now, the sight of him alone had drained
Lc’s energy.
“What do you mean you didn’t do anything wrong when you were sleeping with another man when you
have a mate already?! You tarnish our pack’s good name!” Aiden barked angrily at Lc.
However, just like before, Lc didn’t really listen to him, as she stared at him straight into his soul,
while speaking in gentle voice.
“What about you, who had impregnated woman that is not your mate?” Lc asked casually.
Aiden wanted to humiliate her in front of so many people and wanted to put her down, devalued her,
but she wouldn’t go down alone.

know there is another meeting again here,”
“This is none of your concern!” Aiden was fuming to see Hunter was there.
“Shouldn’t I be here because of what happened and the groundless thing that you have used Lc,
involved me.” Hunter walked toward Lc and helped her to get up on her feet, under dozen pair of
eyes…
