had fled.

Kairos tried a couple of exits, but all were sealed. He had no choice but to attempt another escape, and this time, he ran right into King.

In a narrow hallway, Kairos was holding a sniper rifle bag and had his face covered, which quickly exposed his identity. King raised his weapon and fired, but Kairos blocked with the rifle case and ran, heading deeper into the building. A chase ensued.

Fortunately, the floor they were on was an empty office area under construction, so no one was in danger. They fought back and forth for several minutes until Kairos ran into the security passage and started running downstairs. King, without hesitation, followed.

Outside, Sebastian and his team arrived just as the gunshots echoed up from the building. The security told Sebastian that the exits had been blocked, and King was still pursuing Kairos,

*Stay here! If you spot the suspect, open fire immediately. The rest of you,e with me!” Sebastian ordered, leading the charge upstairs.

Sebastian quickly assessed the situation and whispered to Tyler, who sprinted off to make a move

One of the hostages, frightened and desperate to flee, tried to move, but Kairos immediately fired a shot near the person’s feet, causing them to copse in terror.

“Don’t hurt them!” King shouted, trying to reason with Kairos. “You know your position! You’re surrounded! The only way out is to

    surrender”

Kairos, enraged, shouted back, “Drop your weapon! Or I’ll kill them all!TM

King remained steady, not showing signs of giving in, Kairos fired again, this time hitting a hostage in the leg

    “Bang!”

“Ahhh!” The hostage screamed in agony, writhing on the floor.

“Agree to his demands! Stall for timell“”

The voice in King’s earpiece came through clearly–Sebastian’s order. King, realizing their backup had arrived, pretended to relent. “Stop killing innocents! I’ll drop my weapon!”

King slowly lowered his gun, cing it on the ground. He raised his hands to show he meant no harm.

“Kick it over here!” Kairos demanded.

King obeyed, using his foot to slide the weapon towards Kairos. In that split second, Tyler, who had sessfully scaled the outer wall, leaped through the window from behind, catching Kairos off guard.

With a single move, Tyler tackled Kairos, and the sniper realized he’d been ambushed. He fired his weapon wildly as he tried to break free.
