    Liam and I both burst outughing. Of course, she is buying baby furniture already. I never even consider the rest of the pack’s reaction to the news.

    Once all theughing has died down, I look at both of them.

    I look up at both of them. “I was worried about going too fast or doing something that would hurt the pups. What am I going to do?“<i>, </i>


    Mary just stares at me very matter–of–factly. ‘Firstly, learn your anatomy. No penis has ever hurt a she–wolf in pregnancy unless there is a concern with the pregnancy. There isn’t in the Lewana case, so you not being intimate with her feels like rejection. Secondly, you can’t keep protecting her.
