chapter46
Romina mused, “I see.”
The man lowered his eyes to look at her. “I heard you’re
nning to open a wellness clinic?”
Romina was momentarily stunned.
Not many people knew about this matter, and she had never mentioned that she took over this shop to open a wellness
clinic.
So how did he find out?
Although Romina hesitated inwardly, she still spoke the truth:
“Yes!”
“I actually have a really nice ce. Would you like to take a
look?”
The man’s voice fell, and he lowered his gaze, quietly watching
her.
Romina paused, then asked, “Mr. Bowman, are you offering to
introduce me to a location? Is it your friend’s property?”
“Yes, it’s my friend’s.” Joaquin had already reached toward the
back seat of the car. “It’s a two-story house, originally a tea
house used to entertain clients. Now the tea house has moved
to a new address, so this ce is currently vacant.”
As his voice faded, Romina saw that the car door was already
open.
When she looked up at the man in front of her, she met his
sincere gaze.
He didn’t seem to be joking.
“Alright, then I’ll go with you to take a look.”
Romina got straight into the car, locking eyes with the man in
the driver’s seat.
Romina recognized him; he was Joaquin’s assistant, Erick.
He nodded gently at her in greeting, and she responded with a
smile.
Everyone around Joaquin seemed to share his temperament—
extremely cold andposed.
The two barely spoke along the way. If it weren’t for the soft,
suffocated by the atmosphere.
The location was in the city center, a very bustling area, about a
half-hour drive from Breeze Vista.
If she decided on this ce, she would definitely need to
consider buying a car formuting.
But that was already part of her n.
“This is the ce.”
Joaquin led her inside.
Erick walked ahead to open the tea house’s main door.
The interior wasn’t exactlyrge, but not small either-just
perfect for a wellness clinic.
Since it used to be a tea house, the decor was very traditional
and elegant. Many areas wouldn’t need to be renovated and
could be used as they were.
Moreover, the environment was quite new, suggesting it had been renovated in the past couple of years.

But in such a prime location, it must cost quite a bit, right?
Although she and Joaquin were technically family for now,
that wouldn’tst much longer. He had no reason to give her a
discount.
“So, what do you think? Does it feel right?”
Erick looked at Romina, a faint smile appearing on his face.
“This ce is great, I really like it.” Romina turned to Erick.
“With such a good location and no need for renovations, the
price must be high, right?”
Although she had made three million from the lion statues
Jericho gave to Nadine, opening a wellness clinic and investing
in quartz carving would require a significant sum, so she
needed to control costs as much as possible.
“That would depend on Mr….”
Before Erick could finish, Joaquin interrupted him: “What’s
your budget?”
“My budget is around eight thousand a month, but for a ce
like this, it must be at least thirty thousand, right?”
Romina lifted her eyes, meeting the man’s deep, captivating
gaze.
Joaquin replied calmly, “My friend is asking for five thousand.”
“Five thousand?” Romina’s eyes widened in shock. “Why would
your friend set the price so low?”
A property this good should have plenty of people fighting over

Erick, standing to the side, was equally shocked.
This was clearly Joaquin’s own property-how did it be
his friend’s?
And the market price was clearly fifty thousand a month…
“He owns a lot of properties and doesn’t care about the price.
He’s always wanted to find the right person. Rather than
leasing it out for other businesses, using it to help and heal
people is much more suitable.”
Listening to his words, Romina nodded thoughtfully. “Your
friend is quite special.”
The man nced at her indifferently and said nothing.
Standing nearby, Erick subconsciously touched the tip of his nose and lowered his gaze.
“If you like it, I’ll have him draft a contract and send it to your
home.”
“Alright, thank you, Mr. Bowman.” Romina smiled softly. “I’m
sure I want this ce.”
Joaquin’s lips curled into a faint, ambiguous smile.
Romina still had to visit an elementary school for Lina that
afternoon, so she parted ways with Joaquin at the tea house.
The man sat in the car, his gaze following the woman’s graceful
figure as she walked away.
“Mr. Bowman, why did you hide it from Ms. Sandoval? This is
your property to begin with.”
