Chapter <b>77 </b>The big fight
The corridor outside the exclusive room was teeming with indulgent revelers. A DJ’s rhythmic beats echoed from the stage, while off–stage, people engaged in drinking and games.
Both Renee and Sarah navigated Venus Bar’syout effortlessly, swiftly locating the booth Steve had mentioned.
“Damian? You’re here too.” When Renee saw who upied the booth, she felt a pang of strangeness and asked, ” Where’s Steve?”
Every time Damian saw Renee, he wore a somber expression. Slumping onto the sofa, hezily asked, “Isn’t today your birthday, too? Does your family only celebrate Catherine’s birthday and not yours? Considering all the years you spent in the Hudson family, how can they treat you like this?”
Her family not celebrating her birthday was a form of neglect?
Renee didn’t deem it excessive.
Mindful of owing Wyatt and his mother a favor, Renee restrained herself from arguing with Damian. She remarked, “You’re here for Catherine’s birthday, right?”
“I’m not here for her birthday. Who does she think she is? I thought you were… Never mind. Forget it.” Damian abruptly paused and took out a jewelry box. “Here, your birthday gift.”
“Oh. Thank Steve for me.“Renee assumed the gift was from Steve.

She drew near Damian, causing him to lean back with a twitch of his eyebrows. “Why are you so close? Trying to seduce me? I said happy birthday. Are you deaf?”
Renee wondered why Damian used the word “seduce“. Didn’t he know she was married to Marcelo?
Plus,she nned on staying verymitted to Marcelo.
Both Damian’s brother and mother were aware of her marriage to Marcelo, yet Damian remained oblivious. How distressing.
Sarah maintained silence, her expressions bing increasingly nuanced.
Stepping away,She whispered to Renee, “Renee, something seems off about Damian.”
“He has always been strange.“Renee brushed it off.
“I suspect the gift isn’t from Steve but from Damian.”
Renee gazed incredulously at Sarah, her expression asking, “Are you serious?”
Sarah justified, “Damian mentioned not being here for Catherine’s birthday, but he mentioned you and didn’t bother saying any more. In my opinion, he assumed you were here, which is why he came.”
“I don’t think so, “Renee rebutted, shocked by Sarah’s theory. “We’ve had our differences since childhood.”
Damian hated her guts and bullied her every chance he got.
Anytime they crossed paths as adults, he was still so mean to her.
Chapter <i>77 </i>The big fight
“The Moore family aligns with your husband’s side, while catherine favors Andrew’s. Would Damian be here just because of Catherine’s invitation?”
“Don’t say the word husband.“Renee felt awkward.
“Even without the King family ties, Damian’s known for his arrogance. He doesn’t have any ties with Catherine. Would he honor her? Out of the question!“Sarah continued analyzing.
The Moore family was much prominent than the Hudson family in business circles, so Sarah’s words did make
some sense.
While Renee pondered, someone suddenly emerged, blocking her path.
“Renee, why haven’t you left yet?” Lucia red at Renee, her tone disgusted. “Are you here to cause trouble for Catherine? Or are you aware of Andrew’s presence, loitering around purposefully?” Following Lucia gaze, Renee noticed Catherine chatting with Andrew’s friends with a sweet smile, her arm linked with Andrew’s.
Lucia’s loud voice immediately attracted Catherine’s attention.
“Renee, I don’t want to embarrass you, but my friends don’t wee you here.” Catherine walked over with a frown.
“Renee, we are over, and you have no chance with me.” Andrew regarded Renee with disdain.
He had wanted her back, but after the KM Group incident, he realized that she really wasn’t the gullible woman he had thought he could use and fool. Frustrated by his unrequited interest, he sought to destroy her.
“No… chance?” Catherine appeared deeply aggrieved, tears filling her eyes instantly. “Renee, you really won’t give up on Drew, will you? You’ve taken everything I had up until now. Now you’re after the man I love, too? How could you do this to me?”
Sarah felt both anger and amusement. “Now I see how dramatic and paranoid you two are. No wonder you are a couple. You two are really a match made in heaven, both shameless.”
Fuming, Andrew threatened, “Sarah, don’t think I won’t hit you just because you’re a woman.” Beingbeled as dramatic and paranoid was intolerable, as if to suggest that they had misjudged Renee and were being narcissistic.
Sarah simply shrugged. “Sorry, not sorry.‘
Andrew was a menace.

Sarah knew he didn’t have any good qualities.
In a fit of rage, Andrew summoned the waiter and demanded, “Get your manager here. My girlfriend clearly stated these two aren’t wee. Why aren’t they being removed? I booked this ce! Why is the service so weak?
Unperturbed, Sarah remainedposed. “You call your manager. I’d love to see who they kick out.”
The surroundings gradually quieted down. The gaming sounds ceased, and even the DJ stopped the music.
All eyes were on Renee and Sarah as whispers circted about their unexpected presence at Catherine’s party. “Isn’t that Renee and Sarah? Why are they here? Isn’t the party held for Catherine today?”
“Hey, they’re fighting.”
“I came here today for Andrew’s sake. I didn’t expect that I’d get to watch something fun.”
Soon, the manager arrived, summoned by the waiter.

Among everyone, the manager was the only one in the Venus Bar aware of their ownership.
“Sir, I hate these two.” With a subtle smile, Sarah suggested, “From now on, only Catherine Hudson and Andrew Kin aren’t allowed in here.”
“It’s so funny. Sarah is still being arrogant despite the downfall of her family. She thinks she’s in charge?”
However, amidst the ridicule of others, the manager respectfullyplied with Sarah’s decree. Then, gesturing to Catherine and Andrew, the manager requested their departure. “You two<b>, </b>please leave.”
“What?”
Someone from the crowd expressed their surprise loudly.
“Is the manager out of his mind? I can’t believe he asked Andrew and Catherine to leave.”
“Do you know who Lam? I’ve booked the entire bar today. You’re telling me to leave after I paid for everything? Don’t you want to keep this bar open?” Andrew, in disbelief, pointed at himself.
“Please cooperate with me, or I’ll call security guards.” The manager’s tone was stern.
As the owner of the bar, Sarah gave instructions. Therefore, these two must be driven out no matter what.
“I booked the whole bar. I…”
“We’ll cover the expense for both of you who booked the whole bar tonight.” The manager intervened, then continued, “The two of you, please leave now.”
“Damn it! What’s going on?”
“I can’t believe what I am seeing!”
“It’s unbelievable. The manager of the Rich Bar asked Andrew and Catherine to leave the bar just to please Sarah and Renee. If this had been in the past, I would have understood the manager’s decision. After all, Sarah was powerful at that time. But things have changed now. Her family is done…”
The people in the bar chatted as they watched the stunning scene.
Andrew had no choice but to leave the bar following the manager’s order. His face was filled with indignation.

Sarah’s words touched a nerve and Andrew couldn’t let it slide. He turned around abruptly and pushed the manager away, staring at Sarah with hatred.

Before Catherine finished her words, Renee pulled her hair back, causing her to scream in pain.
Renee’s sudden move waspletely unexpected and no one saw iting.
Andrew couldn’t stand by and watch his girlfriend get beaten, especially in front of so many people. He began to pull Renee
“Damn it! Let go of her. How dare you touch my girlfriend, Andrew shouted.
Sarah also joined in the fight. With a fake smile on her face, she said to Andrew, “See? You’re such a weak man for attempting to hit a woman. That said, I don’t care if you hit every woman on earth, but I won’t let you touch a single hair of Renee.”
The four of them fought for a while before suddenly stopping.
The on–lookers watched the fight and looked at each other in confusion. No one knew why the four people had suddenly started fighting.
To everyone’s surprise, Renee and Sarah beat up Catherine and Andrew.
Catherine’s delicate hairstyle was a mess. On the other hand, Renee and Sarah’s clothes weren’t even wrinkled.
“Why are you still standing there? Do you think this is a fucking show?” Andrew shouted at his friends who were standing nearby when he saw that he couldn’t beat the two women.
His friends exchange nces before finally joining him to fight Sarah and Renee.
Renee directly kicked one of the young men who had just joined the fight and said coldly to Andrew, “I should have beaten you up when I caught you and Catherine in bed three months ago.”
“Three months ago? Oh my! Back then, Andrew was still engaged to Renee, right?” one of the on–lookersmented in shock.
“Have Andrew and Catherine been having an affair for a long time?” someone elsemented.
Catherine suddenly stopped fighting when she heard what the onlookers were saying. Each of their words was like a p she received in the face.
They were staring at her as if she was the most disgusting woman on earth.
