Inside 412

    Chapter 412

Zach’s eyes bulged as he fought to keep his voice down. It never urred to him that Samson would so openly dere his interest in Ariel.

He had no clue when Samson and Ariel had even started getting acquainted, or how their rtionship could have possibly progressed this far.

Samson stared at Zach for a while. A dark light gleamed in his eyes. He furrowed his brows. “What did you say?”

    Zach took a deep breath.

He and Samson had known each other for many years, and their fathers shared a friendly rtionship. Although they weren’t particrly close themselves, Zach still felt obliged to inform Samson of the truth.

“Ariel is really married! She has a husband. Why did you even fall for her? Did she just lead you on without telling you anything about it?”

Zach grew increasingly exasperated as he spoke. He thought that it was extremely wrong of Ariel to do something like this.

Samson’s expression hardened. He contemted briefly before giving his response. “She didn’t lead me on. She doesn’t even know that I like her. So, stop making those baseless usations about her.”

Still, the fact that Ariel was married made Samson fall into deep thought.

“You’re quite protective of her.” Zach had a conflicted expression on his face.

Samson was quite surprised that Zach had decided to share this with him. After thinking about it for a moment, he asked, “How did you find out about it? Who’s her husband?

Zach was left speechless yet again. He would have told Samson if he’d known; even Zach was dying to find out who that person was. Yet, Gary refused to share more about the man, only saying it was someone Zach knew.

Given the sheer number of people Zach knew, asking them all if they were Ariel’s husband was simply unthinkable.

“Anyway, I’m telling you the truth. You should forget her and move on before it’s toote. Ariel isn’t right for you. Given your background and status, you could have any woman you desire.”

Zach found the situation extremely absurd.

Samson fell silent. With his gaze lowered, it was hard to tell what was going through his head.

After a while, he said, “I hope this isn’t just some rumor you’ve heard from someone else. I’ll find out for myself if what you said is true.”

Even more bewildered, Zach realized Samson was being stubborn. He had decided to hold onto his affection for Ariel.

“What is it that you like about her? As far as I’m aware, she has quite a few ws.”

When it came to certain values and principles rting to love and rtionships, Ariel and Samson would probably share contradicting opinions.

Samson cast him a sideways nce. “If you already hold some sort of prejudice against her, you won’t agree with me regardless of how hard I try to convince you that she’s a nice and amazing person.

“You’d just feel confused and think that I’m trying to force my opinions on you. You should probably let go of

those biased opinions of yours and try to observe her yourself.”

Zach froze, frowning as he considered those words.

Ariel had no idea about the exchange those two men had.

She managed to gather a great deal of new information through the Yeager Group’s event. Turning around, Ariel spotted Jayson, who was chatting with some guests in the distance.

She acted as if Jayson were just another stranger and continued on her way. She fixed her gaze on Chad, who stood not too far away, and walked toward him.

Ariel had only taken a few steps when she heard one of the senior executives standing before Jayson ask, “Mr. Larkin, has Nexura Solutions gone through some major changes recently? We’ve heard some rumors about it.”

Jayson made no attempt to conceal the news. He turned slightly and looked at Ariel, who was passing by at that moment. “I’d like to introduce you. This is Ariel Walker, the current owner of Nexura Solutions.”

Completely caught off guard, Ariel could feel the stares of the senior executives, all of whom hade from beyond Eldoria, directed at her.

    “Ms. Walker?”

Forced to stop, she turned around to face the group. Ariel looked at Jayson, whose eyes held a calm and peaceful look.

Ariel responded tactfully as she nodded at those men. “Hello, pleased to meet you.”

With Ariel beside him, Jayson turned slightly and looked down at her. He unhurriedly said, “This is Bernard Finnigan of Freyberg Technologies, and that’s Garrett Hines, who owns Acton Enterprise, based in Halread. Theirpanies have been Nexura Solutions‘ long–time, trusted partners for many years.”

Ariel recognized those names from Nexura Solutions‘ partner list. They were famous, sessful entrepreneurs in their country. However, she didn’t recognize them, as she hadn’t met them before.

For the sake of their coborations, Nexura Solutions had to foster good rtionships with thesepanies. Ariel saw this as a valuable chance to meet them. With humility, she offered her hand and shook hands with the two men, stating, “I’ve heard much about you. I’m delighted to make your acquaintance.”

Ariel might not have had the chance to meet and speak with Bernard and Garrett anytime soon if they hadn’t attended this major event hosted by the Yeager Group. After all, the transfer of Nexura Solutions‘ ownership was a pretty big deal.

Somepanies had partnered with Nexura Solutions because of Jayson. With theirplete faith in him, they might choose to withdraw from their coboration with Nexura Solutions and partner with Jayson’s otherpanies instead.

Although Jayson had offered her all the connections and resources rted to Nexura Solutions, Ariel still saw the need to maintain friendly rtionships.
