“Ms. Stanton.” Upon seeing who it was, Samson struggled to maintain hisposure, his eyes involuntarily flickering toward a certain direction from time to time.


    Nancy could sense that Samson was in a pretty good mood. Her lips lifted in a smile. “Mr. Pryce, are you free to speak for a moment?”


    She had an inkling that Samson wouldn’t turn her down.


    Samson was forced to stay there for a bit longer. He gave a little shrug. “Sure. What is it that you need to talk to me about, Ms. Stanton?”


    Nancy had an earnest look on her face. “Yeager Group has always been my first choice when considering whom to do a partnership with, Mr. Pryce. Therefore, I’d like to hear your opinion.


    “I won’t deny that there’s been much unfavorable news regarding Veyo Solutionstely. Still<b>, </b>I hope you’ll consider overlooking certain aspects and discovering more about Veyo Solutions‘ true potential. Veyo Solutions and I won’t let you down, Mr. Pryce.”


    Every day, Samson would receive numerous requests from people seeking an opportunity to coborate with theirpany. He had already gotten used to handling these situations. However…


    “I’m sorry. Perhaps I’ve done something to make you have some sort of misunderstanding, Ms. Stanton.”


    Samson stared at Nancy. He pondered for a moment and added, “I thought I had made myself pretty clearst time.”


    When Nancy dropped by theirpany’s building to see him previously, Samson had rejected her proposal in a polite, roundabout way.


    In his opinion, anyone who had spent long enough in the business circle would get the hint from his response. Samson had clearly turned down her request at the time.


    Yeager Group had its own considerations. Putting aside Samson’s personal agenda, Yeager Group still leaned toward coborating with Faye Technologies after considering all factors.


    Faye Technologies had Chad, an internationally renowned engineer, and Ariel on their team. They had an edge in terms of their manpower’s skills and quality. Samson couldn’t think of any specific reasons he should pick the Veyo Solutions team instead.


    Nancy’s smile faltered slightly. “I misunderstood something?”


    Did she misunderstand something? Nancy thought that Samson was interested.


    Samson noticed the grim expression on Nancy’s face.     Samson wasn’t even that well–acquainted with Nancy. Honestly, he couldn’t understand why she’d brought this

    Having said his piece, Samson, without a moment’s hesitation, moved off in a particr direction.


    Nancy, on the other hand, wore an awkward expression. It was clear to her in that moment that Samson had rejected her request.


    She watched Samson’s receding figure. It dawned on her that those in high positions, whether at work or in society, wouldn’t make reckless decisions based solely on intuition and personal feelings. Samson was a rational person who kept his work and personal life separate.


    Ariel took in the cutting–edge products showcased by variouspanies at the summit. It was clear these were products of the finest and highest quality.


    Eachpany and product had its strong suit, and Ariel felt she learned a lot from today’s event.


    Just as she stopped next to one of the exhibits, Ariel overheard some people behind her talking.


    “Did you see that just now? Mr. Warbrooke hase out of retirement for Ms. Stanton. The recent disputes were just minor issues to them. Mr. Larkin and Ms. Stanton’s rtionship is still going strong.


    “My husband reminded me to maintain a friendly rtionship with Ms. Stanton since she might marry into the Larkin family soon.”


    “I agree. She’s met the Cavells too. They might just tie the knot whenever the time feels right.”


    “That won’t do. With how much Mr. Larkin cherishes Ms. Stanton, he’ll definitely make sure to have a grand wedding ceremony.”
