Chapter 263 

 At the same time, Marvin suddenly copsed.

 Landon caught him just in time and hauled him off.

 The emcee announced that the wedding would go on, and Ka and Tuff returned to the wedding stage to recite their vows to each other and exchange rings.

 “Mommy, I wish you and Tuff a lifetime of happiness,” Landen said, dressed up in his little suit, offering his most heartfelt blessing to his mom

 He then turned to Tuff. “Tuff, you’re my father now. You have to treat my mommy well forever!”

 Tuff nodded with a grin. “Of course!”

 That one call of “my father” got Tuff all fired up. He took the ring and slipped it onto Ka’s finger, then scooped Landen up in his arms and called out loudly.

 “Photographer, get some great shots of the three of us! Make sure my boy looks super handsome!”

 The crowd erupted intoughter and apuse.

 Blending in quietly among the guests, Aiden couldn’t help but let a satisfied smile tug at his lips.

 ‘Ka, I hope you find true happiness, Aiden thought to himself.

 ‘And Landen, I hope you’ll always be happy too…‘

 “Mr. Kyle, long time no see,” Henry said, sidling up with

 a

 sycophantic toast.

 Sure, he had cut ties with Gloria’s family, but a big event like a wedding was still worth showing up for.

 Today, he had witnessed Ka’s happiness, but he also spotted a w–Aiden and that kid who looked eerily like Landon.

 By then, Henry had given up on trying to take over Kingsley Group, but causing a little trouble for Gloria’s family was still pretty satisfying.

 “Get lost! Don’t mess with me!” Aiden barked coldly.

 Henry was stunned. “Mr. Kyle…”

 “Open your mouth again and I’ll tear your tongue out!” Aiden’s face was stone–cold, and he clearly wasn’t joking.

 Henry shrank back, slinking away awkwardly.

 ‘Shit, why did I have to run into such a hard–ass?‘ Henry cursed inwardly.

 He would never understand just how important Ka was to Aiden.

 If Landon hadn’t stepped in to deal with Shelby and Marvin earlier, Aiden would have done it himself.

 ‘No one gets to mess up Ka’s wedding!‘ Aiden swore to himself.

 Once the ceremony was over, the bride and groom made their rounds, raising their sses and toasting each guest.

 Tuff and Ka made their way over to Aiden “Aiden, thanks foring to our wedding ceremony,” Ka said warmly.

 “Ka, I wish you all the happiness in the world,” Aiden replied, raising his ss with a smile.

 Tuff thought to himself, He tooks pretty handsome when he’s not being so intensal

 “The gifts have been delivered. Ka, you have to ept them,” Alden said.

 Ka’s eyes welled up with tears. “Okay, thanks!”

 “Ahem, I’ll treat Ka right for the rest of my life,” Tuff said, clearing his throat to show he meant it.

 Aiden shot him a cold re. “If you ever hurt Ka, I’ll wipe out the Prescott family.”

 “Never gonna happen!” Tuffughed, trying to y it cool.

 But inside, he was fuming. ‘This little brat is actually threatening me? If it weren’t for the wedding, I’d knock him on his ass!‘

 “Uncle Aiden, stay at our ce tonight. We have a new home now,” Landen said, reaching out to take Aiden’s hand affectionately, just like old times.

 Tuff was speechless.

 ‘No way! Tonight our new home is not open to guests!‘ The

 grumbled inwardly.

 ‘Who lets their brother–inw crash next door on their wedding night, anyway?‘

 “Um…” Tuff shot Landon a look.

 ‘Come on, someone get this maniac out of here! I don’t want him messing up my wedding night!‘ Tuff was practically begging in his head.

 Landon was even less interested in having Aiden stay over at his ce.

 So, he just pretended not to notice Tuff’s silent cry for help.

 Amelia was cracking up inside, but she said out loud, “Mr. Kyle, the Kingsley family gave Ka a hotel as a wedding gift. Why don’t you go help keep things in order over there?”

 “Okay.” Aiden agreed with a grin.

 Everyone breathed a silent sigh of relief.

 “That kid isn’t rted to Ka,” Aiden told Tuff.

 He’d seen the blood stain on Ka’s bedsheet with his own eyes.

 So there was no way that kid could be Ka’s child.

 But as for Landon, Aiden narrowed his eyes, a knowing glint shing in them.

 “And he’s got nothing to do with me either,” Landon said with clear irritation, shooting Aiden

 sharp re.

 ‘That kid… he’s Dad’s illegitimate son,‘ Landon thought.

 But he couldn’t say that out loud.

 ‘If Mom ever found out Dad had an illegitimate child, it would break her heart,’ Landon pondered, feeling a pang of guilt.

 “Mr. Kyle, see you,” Amelia said, waving as she dragged Landon away.

 She lowered her voice and asked, “What exactly did Marvin say to you?”

 “That kid… he might actually be my dad’s…” Landon muttered, barely above a whisper.

 Amelia had figured it out.

 Otherwise, that kid wouldn’t look so much like Landon.

 “Who’s the kid’s mother?” Amelia asked.

 Landon opened his mouth, but the words just wouldn’te out.

 “Marvin must’ve told you something. Come on, spill it! I can handle whatever it is,” Amelia said, her eyes sparkling with curiosity as she watched his face

 ‘What’s the big secret that’s got him so worked up?‘ Amelia wondered.

 “It’s… Aunt Shelby,” Landon finally blurted out.

 What the hell!

 A bombshell dropped out of nowhere, leaving Ameliapletely shell–shocked.

 Isaac and Gloria had always been known as the perfect couple in high society circles.

 Even after years of meddling from Donna and Henry, their rtionship had remained rock–solid.

 There were even rumors that plenty of women had tried to seduce Isaac, but he had always turned them down t.

 And it turned out that this so–called perfect husband had an illegitimate child?

 Okay, fine, having an illegitimate child was one thing. Maybe it was just a drunken mistake or some kind of setup at a business dinner–stuff like that, you could still chalk it up to bad luck.

 But for the kid to be born from Shelby?

 That was just explosive–so shocking that it was almost impossible to believe!

 “We can’t let Mom find out,” Landon sighed.

 “Got it,” Amelia replied.

 She let out a sigh too, feeling just as helpless as he did.

 If Isaac were still alive, at least Gloria would have someone to demand answers from.

 But he’d been gone for years, and she didn’t even get the chance to ask him why.

 Just thinking about it made Amelia feel sad on Gloria’s behalf.

 “I think we really need to get to the bottom of this first. We can’t just take their word for it,” Amelia said, clinging to onest bit of hope in her heart.

 She could only hope this was all just a lie made up by Shelby and Marvin.

 ‘How could Isaac have possibly hooked up with Shelby? Besides, by the time Shelby met Isaac, she already had two kids,‘ Amelia thought to herself. 

 “I’ll look into it. But…” Landon took a deep breath. “If they dared to stir up trouble at the wedding, maybe it’s really true.”

 Amelia fell silent.

 “Alright, you go home and stay with Mom. I’y talk to Aunt Shelby,” Landon said.

 “Okay.” Amelia agreed.

 Shelby slowly came to.

 When she realized Marvin was trapped in the same room with her, her face twisted in disbelief. “Marvin, why are you here too?” 

 “We totally fell for Landon’s trick!” Marvin growled, his face dark with frustration.

 They knew Landon wasn’t the type to be easily threatened, so Marvin and Shelby decided to split up.

 One would be up on stage, the other lurking down below.

 If Landon tried to pull anything on stage, Shelby would just shout out the truth from the audience.

 But in the end, Landon and Ka somehow managed to take them both down at the exact same time–knocking them out cold before they even knew what hit them!

 “He really is worthy of being from the Flying Tiger Sect,” Shelby spat through gritted teeth. “But whatever–what’s done is done, and we’re not scared of him.” 

 “As long as you’re not upset, Mom, I’m good,” Marvin said softly, quickly pouring her a ss of

 As Shelby sipped her water, she asked, “And your little brother? Where is he?”

 “They took him away too,” Marvin replied.

 “Huh, it’s just a DNA test, nothing more,” Shelby scoffed.

 “Yeah, I’m not worried. There’s no way Landon would actually kill his own brother,” Marvin said with a can push around that easily.”

 Shelby nodded, leaning back against the sofa with a look of pure contentment.

 She didn’t seem to realize she was basically under house arrest. If anything, she looked like she was on vacation!

 Aaron, who was eavesdropping just outside the door, couldn’t help but twitch at the corner of his eye.

 ‘Shit! That Jeffrey kid really is Mr. Kingsley’s little brother!‘ Aaron thought to himself.
