Third Person’s POV

The sleep didn’tst long. A sharp knocking on the front door announced that visitors had arrived.

Lance pried his eyes open, squinting at the dim morning light outside.

“Does nobody in this city sleep?” he groaned. “It’s the holidays. These damn wolves have zero chill.”

Adide was already up, slipping into a silk morning gown that barely hid the faint red marks on her neck.

“Wee to the life of an Alpha, Lance. We’ve got a full schedule of social obligations today.”

The first wave was Lycan Gamma Elias and his family.

More specifically, it was his mate, Harper, who had insisted on the early start.

Elias had nned on sleeping until noon, but Harper had dragged him out of bed at dawn.

She looked radiant in a fitted navy wool suit and an expensive mink cape.

As they entered, she kept prodding Elias to pick up the pace.

When she spotted Caldwell heading out to greet them, she shed a smile as warm as a spring breeze.

Harper was here for one reason: the Tamara Institute. She was itching to discuss the operational strategy with Adide.

Lately, she’d been so fired up about the project she felt twenty years younger; it had been a long time since she’d felt this kind of drive.

Lance and Adide joined them in the drawing room shortly after, fully dressed and polished.

They had just started the formal greetings when Harper suggested moving to a meeting room to talk shop. Right then, the butler announced another guest.

“Christine from the Ironw Pack is here.”

Harper stood up with a grin to wee her. She had always respected Christine–a she–wolf

    Christine greeted

    estate was crystal clear.

She was here for the She–Wolf Academy and the Tamara Institute.

If this school was going to teach more than just etiquette–if it was going to coverbat, tactics, and actual survival skills–she wanted to snag a spot for her daughter in the first graduating ss.

She was smart enough not to bring the cub with her today. That would have looked too much like she was cornering Adide. Instead, she came personally to scout the requirements so her daughter could start prep work early.

“No need for formalities, we’re all friends here,” Adide said, rising with a smile. “Let’s head to the west lounge for some coffee.”

And just like that, the spacious main living room was left to a bleary–eyed Alpha Lance and a yawning Elias sitting across from him.

    “So…”

Elias let out another massive, uncurbed yawn.

“Alpha Lance… you got a spot around here where I can crash for a bit? Even a sofa works.”

Lance stared at him, genuinely stunned.

Unbelievable. This guy actually had the audacity to show up at another packhouse at the crack of dawn just to take a nap. The man had zero shame.

In the west lounge, the fire was crackling merrily.

Knowing Paisley was a key yer in the Institute’s setup, Harper asked, “Where’s Paisley? I was hoping to go over the long–term roadmap with her.”

Adide felt bad for Paisley–the girl had barely slept a winktely working on the project- but since Harper asked, she sent an omega to go wake her up.

Harper came prepared. she pulled out a rock–solid business n.

“Ladies, the Institute is a charity, sure, but the location is pretty remote. If the she–wolf there want to turn their handiwork into actual cash, they need a storefront in the city center.”

Christine greeted everyone with her usual grace, but her motive for visiting the ckthorn estate was crystal clear.

She pointed to a section of her n. “I own a boutique space on Fifth Avenue. Prime real estate. I’m clearing it out to sell their goods. All profits go straight back to the Institute–or rather, the she–wolf who made the item keeps the cut.”

Seeing their surprised faces, Harper gave a dismissive wave.

“I’m waiving the rent; consider it my donation. As for the sales staff, I’ll cover their sries until the shop turns a profit. Once it’s making money, we’ll take the overhead from the margins. Thoughts?”

Paisley walked in just as Harper finished, throwing a coat over her shoulders. She pulled up a chair and thought for a second.

“That works for now,” Paisley said. “But long–term, if things take off, we should let the she- wolves elect their own representatives to handle the sales. It keeps the agency in their hands.”

    Harper looked concerned. “But…”

“We’re rebuilding their confidence,” Adide’s voice was firm and steady. She looked at every woman in the room.

“Beyond the money, it’s about waking up the wolf inside them. They need to understand that losing a mate isn’t the end of the world.”

“So, on top of the work, we need seminars. We need counselors to help them mentally and instructors to teach them basic self–defense.”

The room exploded into a heated, passionate discussion.

Christine sat back, offering sharp, constructive advice every few minutes.

She’d originallye just to ask about her daughter and write a check, but listening to them n, she realized this was something much bigger.

    She wanted in.

Audrey hade with Christine today as well. Born into a business family, she strongly agreed with Paisley and Adide’s views.

The conversation was electric, every she–wolf’s eyes shining with

    purpose.

And on the other side of the wall, in the main living room, the snoring was loud enough to shake the rafters.
