Chapter 373: My Son Kissed Me

Chapter 373: My Son Kissed Me

    Eira’s POV

The moment I stepped inside the manor, I waspletely stunned by its beauty.

The entrance hall opened into a breathtaking space with towering ceilings and a sweeping staircase that curved upward with graceful elegance. The polished wooden banister gleamed softly, its surface worn smooth by years of touch. Beneath my feet, the polished stone floor stretched across the hall, arranged in intricate patterns that reflected the golden light above.

Crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling, scattering warm light across the grand walls. Portraits of figures who looked like ancient royalty adorned the walls, their solemn gazes watching over the hall. Antiques filled every corner, each piece whispering stories of an age long past.

Leon guided us through the manor and led us into the grand drawing room.

Tall windows draped with heavy velvet curtains allowed soft daylight to spill gently into the room. Plush sofas and elegant armchairs were arranged around a beautifully carved wooden coffee table.

One wall was dominated by a grand firece. Its stone mantel held antique clocks, delicate porcin figurines, and vases filled with fresh flowers. When lit, the fire would surely fill the room with warmth and theforting scent of burning wood.

"Please have a seat," Leon said politely.

Once we settled down, servants brought refreshments for us. After traveling the entire night, the simple act of sitting down felt incredibly relieving.

"Alpha Kael," Leon continued respectfully, "you must all be tired after such a long journey. Once you have eaten and rested, Alpha Gerald and Luna Iris will meet you."

He informed us of a few more arrangements and then personally guided us upstairs to show us our bedrooms.

Soon everyone went to their respective rooms.

Raven and I quietly followed Kael.

Our luggage had already been moved and arranged neatly by the servants. Kael and Raven went first to take their bath. When they came out, I finally went inside the bathroom myself and took my time.

I was about to meet the royal family.

For some reason, the thought made me conscious of how I looked. Not long ago I had been pale, broken, and sickly. But now I looked different. Healthier. More alive.

Months of care had restored me.

And the day I gained my wolf, something within me had changed. The scars that once covered my body had slowly faded, as though some quiet magic had healed them. My skin no longer looked like a battlefield.

Wrapped in a bathrobe, I stepped out of the bathroom.

Both Kael and Raven were already ready.

Kael had dressed in a suit, looking as handsome andposed as ever. But it was not him who captured my attention.

    It was my son.

Raven stood beside him wearing a small suit almost identical to Kael’s.

Their appearance alone seemed to dere to the world that they were father and son. The way they stood, the quiet aura around them, even their expressions felt strangely simr.

    My heart melted instantly.

I hurried toward Raven and knelt before him. My hands cupped his little face as I pressed affectionate kisses on his cheeks.

"My little gentleman," I said warmly. "I swear you are the most handsome guy in the whole world."

Raven blinked several times, clearly surprised by my sudden enthusiasm.

"You should thank mommy for praising you," Kael told him calmly.

Of course Raven did not speak.

I was about to tell him that it was alright, that he did not need to thank me.

    But then something happened.

A soft little pecknded on my cheek.

    I frozepletely.

Raven... my son... had just kissed me.

For a moment, I wondered if I was dreaming.

Kael knelt beside him and watched my stunned expression with quiet amusement.

He looked at Raven. "You know what to do. You are truly smart."

Father and son shared a small smile while I was still struggling to process what had just happened.

Then Kael leaned forward and kissed my lips softly.

"It’s not a dream," he whispered.

I finally snapped out of my shock.

Kael turned to Raven again. "Daddy should thank mommy too, for giving me such an amazing son. Right?"

    Raven nodded immediately.

Of course. In Raven’s world, whatever Kael said was always correct.

I stood up quickly, suddenly feeling flustered.

"Alright," I said, trying to regain myposure. "I need to get ready too. I should look good just like you two."

I went to the wardrobe where my dresses were arranged. Looking at them, I felt confused. Never thought getting ready for something and some asion could be this confusing and difficult.

After a moment of staring helplessly at the wardrobe, I turned back toward them. "What should I wear?"

"Everything looks beautiful on you," Kael replied calmly as he fixed Raven’s hair that I had just messed up with my affection.

I frowned immediately, my voice dripping with sarcasm. "Very helpful."

Just then the door opened and Roman walked into the room.

    He looked fucking perfect.

A rich white shirt hugged his broad shoulders, tucked neatly into light grey pants that fit him wlessly. His hair was styled neatly in a ssy way that only added to his already striking appearance.

My eyes refused to leave him.

Roman noticed it instantly and offered me a knowing smile, fully aware of where my thoughts had wandered.

I cleared my throat and forced myself back to reality. "Tell me what I should wear."

"You look beautiful in whatever you wear," he said, repeating exactly what Kael had said earlier.

The fuck was wrong with these mates of mine?

For a moment I truly wanted to scold them and throw them both out of the room.

Before I could say anything further, someone else stepped inside.

    Rafe.

    He looked unfairly handsome.

Unlike the others, he had not bothered with formal clothes. He wore dark denim, a light T-shirt underneath, and a casual burgundy jacket over it that matched the shade of his deep red eyes.

He lookedpletely at ease, as if even the presence of royalty could not convince him to dress any differently.

And somehow, that was exactly what made him so attractive.

"Staring too much, Caldwell?" he drawled, standing arrogantly with both hands in his pockets.

I quickly turned back toward the wardrobe before he could see the effect he had just had on me.

    "What’s the deal?" he askedzily.

"She’s trying to decide what to wear today," Roman answered.

"Whatever she wears," Rafe said casually, "nothing can make her look beautiful."

    The fuck.

I snapped at him instantly. "Get lost."

"Why are you angering her, bloodsucker?" another voice came from the door.

For the first time, I felt a small wave of relief. Finally, someone was about to scold this bastard.

"I can’t stop being honest just because it hurts someone," Rafe replied casually, ncing toward Lucian.

Lucian and Jason stepped into the room.

Both of them looked perfectly prepared and annoyingly handsome.

Lucian wore a fitted ck shirt paired with beige pants thatplemented his tall frame effortlessly. Jason stood beside him in a deep green shirt and khaki pants, looking neat, posed, and refined as always.

They were all ready to meet royalty.

And here I was, still standing in front of a wardrobe like a confused fool.

    These five. No. Six.

    I nced at Raven.

Even my son looked ridiculously handsome in his little suit. These six men were truly going to give me aplex about my own appearance.

    God, just kill me already.
