James was sitting in the pavilion ying <b>games </b>with a friend. He was wearing a loose <b>casual </b>suit made <b>of </b>silk fabric, his <b>half</b>–white hair <b>neatly </bbed, and he had a meticulous look. He had a <b>cross </b>bracelet on his wrist<b>. </b>
Andre stepped into the pavilion.
James looked up and saw Charlotte behind him, he smiled warmly and said, “Lottie is here.<b>” </b>
She smiled and nodded, “Teacher.”
The middle–<b>aged </b>man who yed against James slowly <b>turned </b>around and said, “Dr. Sutton, nice to <b>see </b>you again.”
“Mr. Mercado?”
<b>“</b>It’s me.” Darien nodded, looking at James,“I didn’t expect your student to be Dr. Sutton, no wonder he has such medical skills at a young age…”
“The child is talented, my only true disciple.<b>” </b>James abandoned the chess pieces and yed defensively, “How about that, impressed? Didn’t disappoint you, did I<b>?</b><b>” </b>
Darienughed, “<b>It’s </b>fate.<b>” </b>
“Lottie, did Mr. Mercado give you a hard time back then?” James raised an eyebrow, despite his old age, he still appeared to be a tireless old rascal in the eyes of others.
Darien looked awkward.
Charlotte sat next to James and said, “Of course not, I’m your student. If I can’t perform this <b>surgery </b>well, it would be embarrassing for you. How <b>can </b><b>I </b>show off your reputation in the future?<b>” </b>
James was amused, “Haven’t seen you in years, and you’re still ttering me.”
After chatting for half an hour, Darien had to leave early.
Charlotte and James were taking a walk in the garden that seemed to have no end.“Madam Hamilton has already assigned us the project on mitochondrial targeted nanotherapy, but can I skip the coboration with Axiom Medtechter?”
“What’s wrong, worried about seeing someone you don’t want to see?”
James knew about her and the Hamilton family.
After all, back then she was supposed to marry Jaxson, but James didn’t want that. If she hadn’t <b>married </b>Jaxson, she would have inherited the <b>teacher’s </b>position by now.
