Charlotte’s expression slightly darkened.
So, he had spent the night at Caroline’s ce.
They weren’t <b>even </b>divorced yet, and he couldn’t wait to be with another woman.
“No, thanks. I have my own car,” she said tly.
Caroline grabbed <b>her </b>arm. Don’t be <b>shy</b>. We work at the same hospital, and Jaxson will be here <b>soon</b><b>.</b><b>” </b>
Charlotte suppressed the surge of anger rising in her chest<b>. </b>
Charlotte couldn’t help but wonder if Caroline was doing this intentionally and if she already knew about her rtionship <b>with </b><b>Jaxson </b>and <b>was </b><b>now </b>deliberately unting it in front of her<b>.</b>”
She pulled <b>her </b>hand away forcefully.“I said no thanks.<b>” </b>
Suddenly, Caroline fell to the ground.
When Collin saw his mother being pushed down, he rushed forward and shoved Charlotte.“You mean woman<b>! </b>How <b>dare </b><b>you </b>push <b>my </b>mom!”
Charlotte’s phone <b>ttered </b>to the pavement.
Not satisfied, Collin stomped on her phone <b>several </b>times with all his might.
Don’t you have any manners?” Charlotte grabbed his arm to pull him away<b>, </b>causing him to fall onto his bottom and burst into loud wails.
Jaxson, who had just pulled up in his car, witnessed the scene<b>. </b>He strode over.“Charlotte<b>!</b><b>” </b>
In his urgency, he even forgot to hide their rtionship from Caroline and called her by name <b>directly</b>.
“Dad! This bad woman pushed me!” Collin cried dramatically, his <b>face </b>full of <b>exaggerated </b><b>misery</b>.
Caroline immediately checked Collin for injuries, her expression displeased.“Dr. Sutton, <b>if </b><b>you </b>have any issues with me, take them up with me. There’s no need toy hands on a child!”
Charlotte took a deep breath, clenching her teeth. “Aren’t <b>you </b>going to mention how your son deliberately stomped on my phone<b>?</b><b>” </b>
Caroline avoided her gaze.“Collin… he didn’t mean to do that!”
“Stepping on it might be an ident, but stomping on it multiple times, that’s intentional<b>!</b>”
“Charlotte.” Jaxson’s <b>eyes </b>burned with <b>clear </b>anger.
