Chapter 1591

    ?Chapter 1591:

Ste observed Jazlyn’s forehead swelling into angry red welts against the concrete, pletely unmoved. Even now, Jazlyn pursued maniption rather than genuine repentance, attempting to weaponize guilt and force Ste into surrender.

Ste looked away, her desire to remain evaporating entirely. “Marcmitted his crimes, and thew will deliver appropriate punishment. You can kneel here until you rot, but my answer won’t change. Leave now, or I’ll call security.”

When she had been married to Marc, how exactly had Jazlyn treated her? With zero mercy — never once considering that her daughter-inw might be meless.

Ste refused to spare Jazlyn another nce and turned to head back inside. Engaging further with someone like her served no purpose whatsoever.

Watching Ste actually walk away, Jazlyn lunged desperately at the iron gate, wrapping her fingers around the bars. Her voice came out raw and hoarse as she shrieked, “Ste, you can’t be this heartless! If you refuse me, I’ll die right here on my knees today. I’ll make certain everyone witnesses how you drove me to this—”

Before she could finish the threat, a powerful engine roared in the distance.

A ck Maybach glided smoothly to a stop at the vi’s entrance. The car door swung open, and William’s long legs emerged first, followed by his face — handsome and sharp, his features carved with such precision they might have been sculpted by a de. His expression was nk, yet an unshakeable coldness radiated from between his brows.

As he straightened to his full height, his gaze swept across Jazlyn — still kneeling and shrieking at the gate. His eyes transformed instantly into something cial and dangerous.

Jazlyn’s cries died in her throat. As though invisible hands had wrapped around her neck, her entire body went rigid. The instant their eyes met, she jerked her gaze away in flustered panic. She had never anticipated Ste summoning William back here.

When she had hired a private investigator to track Ste’s location, she had also paid for intelligence on William’s schedule. Knowing he hadn’t visited the vi in weeks, she had gathered the courage to confront Ste directly. But who could have predicted his sudden return today? If Ste hadn’t called him, then who had?

William didn’t waste even a nce on Jazlyn. His full attention went to Ste, and finding her standing there unharmed, he allowed his brow to furrow briefly before his features reset into cold impassivity. Without a word, he gestured toward the vi’s security guards. Only after several had assembled before him did he speak, his tone casual and dismissive.

    “Throw her out.”

Two heavily built guards stepped forward at once. “Yes, Mr. Briggs!” They hauled a stunned Jazlyn to her feet, one guard gripping each arm.

When Jazlyn realized what was happening, she struggled in terror. “William — no, Mr. Briggs, please listen to me. I’m here to ask for your mercy. My son knows he made a mistake. Please spare him. I swear we’ll nevere back to Choria if you let him go.”
