Chapter 1682

    ?Chapter 1682:

“You—” Violette seethed, fury zing across her face.

“You know exactly who the Hewitt family is, and you still dare behave like this?” Irene snapped. “Are you tired of living? Apologize right now, or we’ll make sure you regret it.”

Christina gave them a frosty look. “Me? Apologize to you? Who do you think you are?”

When they saw that she showed not a trace of fear toward the Hewitt family’s influence, doubt crept into both Violette’s and Irene’s expressions.

“Who exactly are you?” Violette demanded.

“That’s none of your concern,” Christina replied evenly.

Violette felt her patience snap at being dismissed so casually.

“What great figure are you pretending to be? Putting on an air of mystery doesn’t make you important,” Irene sneered. She leaned toward Violette and lowered her voice. “She’s bluffing.”

“What makes you say that?” Violette asked.

“She’s definitely not a Jones or a Martel. She’s just putting on an act.” Violette found the exnation convincing and promptly folded her arms, her expression turning smug.

“You might deceive others, but you won’t fool me. If you know what’s good for you, apologize now — I might be generous enough to let this go. Think carefully. You don’t want to offend me.”

Despite the drawn-out warning, Christina remainedpletely unmoved. “The Hewitt family means nothing,” she said inly.

“You—” Violette ground her teeth and jabbed a finger at her. “You’re asking for trouble!”

    ??????? ?????? ??????????n?t?? о? ????????o????ls.cо??

“And what are you going to do about it? Go ahead,” Christina replied with a softugh.

Violette felt utterly provoked, her anger burning hotter.

“You ignorant bumpkin! Do you even have enough money for that bag? Stop pretending!” Irene scoffed.

Violette’s scowl eased into a smug smile. “Can’t afford it? Then leave and stop ruining my shopping.” She turned toward the sales staff. “Why are you all just standing there? I’m a VIP client of this brand. Get her out — she’s interfering with my shopping experience.”

The sales assistants hesitated, clearly unsure how to proceed. Christina didn’t appear ordinary at all, given how boldly she had confronted Violette. Both customers held influence, leaving the staff trapped in an impossible position.

Seeing their reluctance, Violette pulled out her VIP card andmanded, “Throw her out. Now.”

“Country bumpkin, see this?” Irene mocked, her tone even more arrogant than Violette’s. “This is what money looks like. What do you have that could possiblypare to Miss Hewitt?”

“Oh? Is that right?” Christina smiled slowly, a taunting gleam in her eyes, and produced a card of her own. “What a shame — because today, the one getting thrown out is you.”

For a brief moment, Violette and Irene were nearly shaken by her confidence — until they saw the card clearly. It was a in gray card, neither a VIP card nor a standard bank card.

They burst intoughter, their faces filled with scorn. Ireneughed so hard it looked as though her face might split.

“How perfectly fitting for a country bumpkin! Never seen a real ck card, so you pull out a fake gray one instead? You think that’ll fool us?” She shook her head, stillughing. “Hrious. At least do some homework first — aren’t you embarrassed to make such a fool of yourself?”
