Chapter 1616

    ?Chapter 1616:

“Bonnie, all of this was prepared for you,” Beth said quietly, her voice trembling with tenderness. Her smile was gentle, but her eyes glistened faintly red.

In that instant, the truth settled fully in her heart—she had finally found her daughter.

Until today, everything had felt fragile and unreal, like a dream she feared would shatter the moment she opened her eyes.

As Gerry lowered his hand, Christina opened her eyes along with him.

The second her vision cleared, she saw a towering stack of gifts arranged neatly at the center of the room—solid and deliberate, as if built with devotion.

But that was not all. Every wall had been fitted with finely crafted disypartments. Behind each ss panel sat rows of unopened gift boxes, carefully ced into every slot.

Each box bore its own wrapping, its own ribbon, its own unique style—and the walls were filledpletely, dazzling to behold.

“These are all the gifts we prepared for you from the day you were born,” Beth exined. “Each one has a tag marked with your age—holiday gifts, birthday presents… everything.”

Florrie let out a soft chuckle. “Let’s add Bonnie’s fingerprint.”

“Right,” Beth said, blinking as realization struck her. “Oh my goodness, I nearly forgot. Bonnie, these ss panels are secured with fingerprint locks. Once your fingerprint is registered, you’ll be able to open any one you want. Just press the panel, and it’ll unlock.”

She turned toward Bain. “Bain, help your sister get hers registered.”

“Sure,” Bain replied, nodding as he stepped forward.

It took very little time before Christina’s fingerprint was sessfully activated.

Christina moved closer to one of the walls, staring at the perfectly arranged gifts. From the day she was born to the present year, not a single one had ever been forgotten.

The longer she stared, the tighter her chest became. Her vision blurred with unshed tears as emotion surged up before she could stop it.

    ?????????????? ??????????????: g??????ν????????????

Her family had truly never forgotten her—not even once.

Even when she had not been home, they had continued preparing gifts for her year after year, patiently waiting for the day she would return.

And now she was here. Their little girl had finallye home.

Christina selected the button marked “Birth” and then pressed her fingertip to the panel to release the lock.

Almost immediately, the ss sections along the top of the wall disengaged with soft clicks and slid open.

Severalpartments glided forward and descended in one smooth motion, bringing the boxes directly within her reach.

On the day she was born, every member of her family had prepared a gift meant solely for her—and they had never stopped adding to them over the years.

“Bonnie, we gave you gifts when you were born,” Hurley said, his voice thick with emotion, “and these are the ones we kept preparing in the years after.” His vision blurred as tears welled in his eyes.

Thinking about everything his daughter had endured away from home sent a sharp pang through his chest.
