?Chapter 1611:
When Christina first caught sight of Jordy, she almost mistook him for Gerry.
Jordy, who was usually calm andposed, had transformed into a walking burst of color—and the sight left her more than a little unsettled.
Eyeing his overly bright outfit, Christina lowered her voice and asked, “Jordy, why are you dressed like this?”
“Don’t you like it?” he asked, genuinely confused. “Didn’t you say you preferred a livelier style?”
“Well…” Christina let out a soft, awkwardugh. “I do—but this look suits Gerry more than you.”
She hadn’t invited Gerry for a reason. His mboyant fashion sense and celebrity reputation would have drawn chaos the moment he appeared.
Christina had no interest in making headlines in Lionesspaw or getting caught up in the storm of his obsessive fans.
Even Bain, with his quieter fashion sense, still carried an air that turned heads wherever he went.
Jordy, she had thought, was the safe choice—modest, refined, easy to blend in. Yet here he stood, dressed like a peacock, glittering from head to toe.
The moment she saw him, Christina quickly slipped on her mask and sunsses, hoping to stay unnoticed.
“Then I’ll try another style next time,” Jordy said with a grin.
As they walked, he noticed how she kept her head down and leaned in teasingly. “Bonnie, why are you hiding your face? Am I that embarrassing?”
“No, Jordy, don’t overthink it,” Christina replied, keeping her gaze low. “I’m just tired from the flight.”
It wasn’t embarrassment that made her cautious—it was the risk of being photographed and sshed all over the inte.
“Then let’s hurry home so you can rest,” Jordy said warmly. Without hesitation, he took her hand and quickened their pace through the terminal.

Unbeknownst to them, someone had already lifted their phone, capturing photos as they passed.
Their drive ended at a grand estate sprawling across acres of manicurednd. Even after passing through the ornate gates, they had to drive a long stretch before the mansion came into view—a massive residence that looked more like a castle than a home.
From a distance, Christina spotted her family gathered eagerly on the front steps, smiles bright as sunlight.
They couldn’t even wait for the car to stop before they began rushing forward.
“Out of the way! Let me open the door for Christina!” Gerry darted ahead, practically shoving Bain aside in his excitement.
“Gerry!” Bain snapped, his tone sharp as steel.
“I can’t hear you!” Gerry shot back without turning.
He flung the car door open with triumphant ir. His face bright with excitement, hepletely ignored Bain’s simmering re.
Bain’s eyes darkened. He strode up beside his brother and firmly pushed him aside. “Bonnie, it must’ve been a tiring trip. Are you hungry?” he asked, his voice suddenly gentle.
