Chapter 1539

    ?Chapter 1539:

Soon after, a dramatic ‘love-triangle’ fight involving three men rocketed straight to the top of online trending lists.

Christina was just drinking water when she happened to scroll past the viral news.

She immediately spat out a mouthful of water and burst into a fit of coughing.

When she finally caught her breath, uncontrobleughter bubbled up.

She had expected Robin to confront Dn, but never in her wildest dreams did she imagine it would y out like this.

What on earth had been going through Robin’s mind?

No wonder he had beenpletely silent when he returned earlier. No matter how many times she’d asked, he hadn’t uttered a word.

Seeing he wasn’t physically hurt, she had decided not to press him further.

“Why are youughing so suddenly? And so loudly?” Robin’s voice came from right behind her shoulder.

Curious, he leaned over to look. The moment he saw the short video clip on her screen, his face darkened instantly.

How had their private confrontation be a viral video? And why was everyone so obsessed with it?

“Look,” Robin said, a note of panic creeping into his voice, “if I told you Dn and I were just putting on an act, would you believe me?”

“Oh, absolutely,” Christina replied, her grin widening.

Seeing her amused expression, Robin immediately assumed she thought he was lying, which only stressed him out more.

“Seriously, it’s not what it looks like at all. Nothing happened between Dn and me. I don’t even like men,” he exined, his words tumbling out in desperation.

“I know, I know. You really don’t have to exin yourself to me,” Christina said, still chuckling. She found the whole situation genuinely hrious.

“Ugh, seriously! I swear I don’t like guys! I like…” Robin almost yelled out the word ‘you,’ but he managed to choke down his feelings at thest second.

He was acutely aware that Christina had never shown romantic interest in him, and he was terrified that a confession would ruin their friendship. Keeping his feelings a secret felt like the only safe way to avoid pushing her away forever.

Christina offered him a gentle smile and gave his shoulder a friendly pat. “I totally get it, Robin. You like girls.”

Robin’s face flushed slightly. “Good, I’m d you get it,” he mumbled awkwardly.

“Just make sure your family handles the media fallout,” Christina suggested, putting her phone away.

“No way,” Robin shot back firmly. “As long as Dn refuses to un-cklist you, I’m going to keep pushing this stupid love-triangle rumor.”

Christina’s smile softened, then faded into a look of genuine concern. She realized Robin was risking his own reputation just to force Dn to lift the ban against her. She had honestly thought he was only trying to stir up trouble.

“Thank you, Robin,” she said with sincere gratitude.

Robin scratched the back of his head, a shy gesture as his eyes darted away, avoiding her gaze. “You don’t need to thank me. You helped my family so much. Standing up for you is the least I can do.”
