Chapter 1515

    ?Chapter 1515:

“Okay, wait just one second. Let me grab something…” Brendon trailed off, hurried back to his car, and yanked the door open. He pulled out an enormous bouquet of red roses from the sleek ck Maybach.

“These are all for you. Don’t you love them?” he asked with forced cheer, holding the flowers up to her car window.AdChoicesADVERTISING

Christina frowned deeply at him. Was he insane? Why was he giving her roses?

“Look carefully. Who do you think you’re talking to?” Christina snapped, assuming he was drunk and had mistaken her for someone else.

“I know exactly who you are. I’m not drunk. You’re Christina, my wife,” Brendon replied, still smiling.

Christina felt a wave of disgust at his audacity. “Choose your words carefully,” she said coldly. “We were divorced ages ago. Your wife is Ynda!”

“Do we really have to talk about her now? Christina, I know I made huge mistakes. I finally realize how wrong I was. Can’t you just forgive me?” As he spoke, Brendon tried to shove the massive bouquet into her car.

Furious, Christina pushed her car door open violently, snatched the roses from his hands—AdChoicesADVERTISING

“Christina! You finally forgive—” Brendon’s excited words died in his throat, his hopeful smile freezing.

He watched, stunned, as she threw the entire bouquet onto the ground and then deliberately stepped on it, grinding the flowers under her heel. It felt as if she were grinding his heart into the dirt.

“See this?” she said mercilessly. “This is what I think of your apology. Don’t ever bring me roses again. Save them for your actual woman. I find this whole disy revolting.”

“Christina, why are you being so cruel? I’ve already swallowed my pride and apologized! What more do you want me to do? Just tell me… I promise I will change, okay? I’ll change everything!” Brendon pleaded, his face twisted in pain.

Christina let out a short, coldugh, her gaze filled with utter contempt. His every move sickened her.AdChoicesADVERTISING

“Brendon, who exactly are you trying to fool with this ‘devoted lover’ act?” she shot back.

“Do you get a thrill from cheating in every marriage? Is sneaking around and lying that much fun for you?”

Throughout their three years together, the moment Brendon had recovered from his illness, he had immediately pursued Ynda, clearly savoring the excitement of their affair.

Now, even though he had supposedly married the woman he “truly loved,” he was here trying to pressure Christina into bing his mistress.AdChoicesADVERTISING

Ynda might thrive on the drama of being the other woman who “won,” but Christina wanted no part of that sordid game. She had no intention of lowering herself to take back someone so worthless.

Brendon fell silent, his face flushing with shame.

After a moment, he spoke with a determined earnestness. “I’ll get a divorce. If you can forgive me and take me back, I’ll leave Ynda.”

Christina simply stared at him, incredulous at his audacity. In his mind, marriage was a casual game he felt entitled to quit whenever he got bored.

He had no integrity, no sense of responsibility—he had never understood that marriage meant a lifelongmitment to the duties of a husband and father.
