Chapter 1487

    ?Chapter 1487:

Brendon’s anger fired up instantly—like gasoline hitting a me. “You still won’t admit it!” he exploded. “You killed my child—your grandchild! How can you just walk around like nothing happened?”

“What grandchild?” Joselyn shrieked, digging her heels in. “For all you know, that wasn’t even your kid! Ynda could’ve been sneaking around with someone else. You were just too dumb to see it!”

In her mind, Ynda was the viin. If that girl hadn’t mouthed off, none of this mess would’ve ever unfolded.

She still insisted it had been just a small shove—barely a touch—and then Ynda had lost the baby. Too fast. Too easily.

Joselyn had spent countless nights convincing herself that Ynda had nned this whole thing: that the baby wasn’t Brendon’s to begin with, that the miscarriage was a setup designed to paint her as the monster.

Brendon’s face twisted with raw fury. “You’re always the one stirring shit up in this family!”

“What did you say? I am your mother, Brendon!” Joselyn screamed back, clutching her chest as her anger spiked. “How dare you talk to me like that!”

In her mind, her once-sweet son was bing impossible to handle—all because Ynda had gotten her ws into him. Ynda was the real cancer in this family, not her.

“Tell me I’m wrong!” Brendon yelled. “When I was with Christina, you meddled nonstop. Now I’m with Ynda, and you’re doing it again. It’s like you want this family to fall apart!”

Joselyn froze. His words hit her like a physical blow. Her heart sank lower with every syble. Tears filled her eyes as she stared at the son she had raised, pampered, protected—only to watch him look at her with nothing but ice.

“You were the main reason your marriage with Christina crashed and burned—not me! You were the one walking around blind!” Her anger spiked further as she jabbed at another sore point. “And while we’re at it, the real home-wrecker here was Ynda—the woman you married! She’s the one tearing this family apart!”

    ???????? ?????????? ????????: g????????ν????????????

Brendon fellpletely silent. His mind drifted back to his past with Christina, reying every mistake. As much as he wanted to dodge it, he had contributed to the copse of that marriage.

Katie rushed in like a firefighter responding to a full ze. “Mom, why are you two fighting?”

Trevor walked in behind her, calm on the outside. His eyes brieflynded on Bethel, and a small hint of resentment shed across his face, though no one noticed.

He disliked that Bethel refused to give him the Dawson Group shares.

What made him even more annoyed was that she had transferred the estate to Christina without telling anyone. To him, it made no sense.

Joselyn quickly turned to Katie, her voice shaky. “Katie, good timing. Tell everyone who’s right here,” she said, trying to get someone on her side.

Katie frowned, visibly irritated. “Mom, you were wrong. You caused Brendon to lose his child,” she said, unable to stay quiet anymore.

Joselyn’s temper red. She jabbed Katie’s forehead with her finger and snapped, “So now you’re siding with Ynda? She set me up! She’s only ming me because she doesn’t want anyone to know the child wasn’t even Brendon’s.”

“Enough!” Brendon’s voice thundered through the room, sharp and furious. He’d reached his limit with Joselyn. “You’re a grown woman! When you make a mistake, can’t you just admit it? You caused your own grandchild’s death, and I don’t see even a flicker of remorse in you. Instead, you’re still spewing filth about the baby—and about Ynda!”
