Chapter 1475

    ?Chapter 1475:

Lorraine sobbed, tears streaking down her cheeks, her whole face screaming pure terror.

Their grand n had blown up in their faces, and worse, the Millers knew. They were finished.

“Lorraine, don’t cry, sweetheart. Daddy’s here.” Jerald puffed up with fake rage, ring at Christina. “Was it you? You’ve had it in for her from the start!”

Andrina jumped in, her voice sharp and shrill. “What did my daughter ever do to you? How could you humiliate her like this?”

Christina, the one who’d actually been wronged, hadn’t even spoken before the me was dumped on her.

Christinaughed, disbelief dripping from her voice. “You’ve got the balls to y victims? Your whole damn family plotted to kill me, and now you’re standing here demanding answers from me?”

The Reynolds’ faces went ghost-white, their hearts freezing. Were they exposed? No… that was impossible.

Refusing to ept it, they stumbled over each other, spouting desperate denials.

    “We didn’t! Stop spewing lies!”

“She’s ndering us! Don’t believe a damn word out of her mouth!”

Then, like actors in a bad y, Jerald and Andrina wailed in unison. “We’re innocent! We swear it!”

Lorraine threw herself into the act, sobbing hard. “Celine, you don’t believe her, do you? I didn’t do it! Christina’s framing me. She and that driver tried to kill me!”

The Millers stood grim-faced, but none colder than Celine; her expression was ice, her eyes cutting like steel.

Even if they hadn’t known Christina long, they knew full well Lorraine’s true nature.

And honestly, everyone trusted Christina more anyway. If she were really the evil mastermind they tried tobel her as, she would’ve destroyed them cleanly and quietly ages ago; she didn’t need this messy drama.

From the second Lorraine got hauled back to the Miller estate like a troublemaking teenager, it became painfully obvious to everyone who the real culprit was and who had been lying through their teeth.

“Lorraine, you’ve really managed to let me down,” Celine said, her voice as cold as steel. “From today onward, the Reynolds family is cut off. We’re done.”

“Celine! What does that mean? You’re cutting me off?!” Lorraine shouted, her voice cracking like thin ss. “I saved your life! And this is how you repay me?”

She had never felt fear hit her this hard—Celine wasn’t bluffing, not this time. Every wording out of her mouth was deadly serious.

Without the Miller family behind them, the Reynolds family wasn’t just weak; they were nothing. They’d drop right back to their old pitiful state almost overnight.

Lorraine’s brother was a walking disaster, a bottomless wallet-shredder who burned money faster than most people breathed. Without the Millers holding up the roof, the Reynolds would copse in a single financial gust.

Celine’s face stiffenedpletely, and her eyes filled with a look of disgust.

“I’ve given you more chances than you ever deserved, Lorraine,” Celine said bluntly. “Saving my life doesn’t give you a lifelong excuse to cause chaos. If the Miller family hadn’t stepped in, your whole family, not just you, would’ve been wiped out by your brother’s mess. If we want to be exact, you saved me once. I saved your entire family from financial death. That puts us square. We’re even.”
