?Chapter 1446:
The warmth of her touch sent a brief shiver through Robin.
Before he could say a word, Christina turned to face Noah, delivering a statement so bold it left everyone around them stunned into silence.
“Let’s y Skyfall Shuffle.”
The words hit the room like thunder. Gasps rippled through the crowd; even Noah’s smirk faltered as he stared at her.
“Do you even know what you’re saying?” he asked incredulously.
“Of course I do,” Christina replied, her tone calm and certain.
Noah chuckled under his breath. “You’ve got guts,dy.”
“I certainly do,” Christina said evenly, her eyes glinting with quiet fire.
The crowd soon snapped out of their daze, their eyes fixed on her—curiosity and doubt flickering in equal measure.
“I can’t believe she actually challenged Noah with Skyfall Shuffle—Epic’s signature move!”
“Exactly! Card Rain’s one thing—throwing the whole deck and picking a card midair—but Skyfall Shuffle? That’s on another level! You shred the deck, toss the pieces into the air, and in seconds have to reassemble aplete card! It’s almost impossible!”
“Could she be Epic’s student? No one would dare say that without absolute confidence!”
Whispers rippled through the room, growing louder with each passing second, as their intrigue over Christina’s true identity deepened.
The Miller family looked at each other, stunned. How the hell was Christina nning to pull off Skyfall Shuffle against Noah of all people?
“Dad…” Dayton leaned in, voice low. “What is Miss Jones’s background, really?”
Kurt kept his eyes locked on Christina, but she was still aplete mystery to him.
He let out a breath and said, “I wish I knew,” his toneced with curiosity.
He thought back to when they first met—she’d helped him score a massive win at the tables.
???????? ???????? ???????? ???? g????????ν??????﹐?????
Looking back now, maybe she wasn’t just lucky. Maybe she was way more dangerous at the game than anyone realized.
Kurt’s eyes narrowed, a theory creeping into his head. Could she be Epic—the underground legend? He couldn’t say for sure, but the thought refused to leave.
Christina still had her finger pressed lightly against Robin’s forehead.
The second he reached for her hand, she pulled back—fast and smooth.
His hand caught air, and a weird emptiness settled in his chest.
“Skyfall Shuffle is Epic’s move,” Robin muttered, his voice tight. “This isn’t just some game…”
Robin’s tone was heavy—he was clearly worried. Christina was about to take on a damn near impossible challenge. And if she lost to Noah? Things would go downhill fast.
“I know.” Christina just grinned, full of fire. “Rx. Watch me y, Robin.”
As she said it, Noah’s eyes lit up. He was clearly intrigued—more than he’d been all night.
Robin noticed the way Noah was staring and immediately stepped in front of Christina, blocking his view.
