Chapter 1286

    ?Chapter 1286:

“That’s payback for your stunt. And for the record, I don’t give a damn about Terrence,” Christina added, shoving her hard before walking off like she owned the ce.

Besty stumbled forward, almost face-nting, but her men caught her just in time to save her from total humiliation. They helped her stand, and she instantly turned to re at Christina’s back, her eyes full of poison.

Her arms dangled uselessly, and she started kicking the sofa like a maniac.

“Ah! Ahhh!” Besty screamed like she’d lost her mind. “Christina! You better watch yourself! As long as I’m alive, don’t you dare touch my man! He’s mine… only mine!”

Besty brushed off Christina’s threats like they were background noise—annoying, but not dangerous.

In her eyes, Christina was just slightly more skilled than the average person, nothing she couldn’t handle.

Besty was convinced Christina didn’t have the guts to actually kill her unless someone really backed her into a corner. She was sure Christina couldn’t touch a dime of her money unless she handed it over herself.

Once her dislocated hand was popped back into ce, she went straight home. Her mind was already spinning with ways to get Christina out of the picture for good.

The perfect time to strike would be when Terrence was out of the country, and Besty wasn’t about to let that golden window close without making her move.

Christina had slipped through the cracks this time, pure dumb luck. Besty would make sure it didn’t happen again.

With her new n swirling in her head, Besty finally let sleep take her.

The next morning, she was caughtpletely off guard when someone showed up holding a giant ceremonial banner, thanking her like she was some kind of saint.

She didn’t snap out of her daze until they said she’d donated five million to poor ruralmunities, helping kids go to school.

“Miss Webster, we’re so grateful for your generosity. We stayed up all night making this banner to honor your support for so many underprivileged students…”

The person went on and on with their thank-you speech, but Besty barely heard a word.

Her brain was stuck on one thing… when did she give away five million?

That was her hard-earned cash. There was no way she would hand it over to strangers. She wasn’t exactly known for her charity work.

But with that banner waving in front of everyone, she had no choice but to smile and nod like she meant it.

She had no clue what to do next. How did five million vanish from her ount without her noticing?

Besty stared at her bank alerts, her heart sinking. The money was gone. All five million of it. No mistake.
