Chapter 1263

    ?Chapter 1263:

This was the guest her boss had personally instructed her to treat with the utmost care. One misstep, and her career would be over.

Her boss had never given such a direct order before. That alone spoke volumes about Christina’s significance.

Rumor had it he was soon to have a wife.

Could this poised, elegant woman be her boss’s future wife? The thought made Torrie’s smile grow even more respectful, almost reverent.

“Yes,” Christina said with a gentle smile, keeping her tone calm and polite.

“Miss Jones, please feel free to order anything you wish. We will prepare it immediately,” Torrie responded promptly.

Christina said casually, “Just serve your signature dishes.”

“Of course. Right this way to the Sky Pavilion, Miss Jones,” Torrie said with a respectful bow, motioning toward the staircase.

Seeing the crowded hall, Christina thought it best to head upstairs before the space grew even more packed.

“Very well. Please have someone wait here for my guest,” Christina instructed before ascending.

Torrie immediately directed the staff to escort Magnus upstairs upon his arrival, then hurried off to personally attend to Christina.

The crowd remained hushed until Christina and herpanion disappeared from view. Only then did the whispers begin to ripple through the room.

“Wait, did I hear that right? The manager’s taking them to the Sky Pavilion? Only VIPs and big shots eat up there!”

“You heard it right. The Murrays are finished. They messed with someone way above their level.”

“Serves them right! I’ve had enough of their attitude. Seeing them finally get what they deserve feels damn good.”

Once the drama was over, the crowd started leaving, but gossip traveled fast. Soon enough, everyone in town knew the Murrays had been cklisted by Morfort Restaurant.

They had managed to offend both Morfort Restaurant and the one who had the right to dine in the Sky Pavilion. Their days of prestige were clearly over.

A few minutester, Magnus rushed into Morfort Restaurant, slightly out of breath after being held up by other business. Guilt washed over him. He had promised to treat Christina to dinner, but now he waste and making her wait.

But the moment he stepped into the lobby, two staff members moved in front of him, stopping him from going any further.

Magnus froze in surprise. When he noticed the staff dressed in Morfort uniforms, his heart skipped a beat. Had he somehow angered the restaurant?

He drew in a steady breath and asked, voice firm, “What’s going on here?”

“Are you Mr. Magnus Cruz?” one of the staff asked politely, almost with reverence.
