Chapter 1252

    Chapter 1252:

He didn’t say a word, but his eyes sparkled with satisfaction. People could scoff orugh at him for choosing a young woman as his mentor, but he knew better.

Since the day he’d bowed to Christina as his mentor, he’d never once doubted it.

She was the real deal. His greatest pride.

Momentster, a message came in on Christina’s phone, indicating Davina was in the hospital.

Her expression froze, all warmth draining from her face in a heartbeat. A cold, lethal intent shed in her eyes, raw and undeniable, impossible to mask. The Murrays had gone too far this time.

A cold, suffocating presence enveloped her, and the temperature in the room seemed to drop. It was as if the very air had turned to ice, sharp enough to bite into the skin.

Everyone instinctively recoiled, their eyes wide, hearts pounding. They all wondered if they’d made a mistake during the restoration or miscalcted somehow.

No one dared to ask, though. The pressureing off her was so thick, so suffocating, that it was clear they were all walking on fragile ground.

Even Magnus could feel the cold, murderous aura creeping from her and didn’t dare step forward.

Christina’s mere presence could strike fear into anyone, even without a word.

“Magnus, I need to go to the hospital. Stay here and keep an eye on things,” she said, her voice steady, almost too calm.

“Are you feeling unwell?” Magnus asked, his concern evident.

The others wanted to voice their worries too, but the fear was stronger than theirpassion. They didn’t dare approach her. They stood frozen, all their attention trained on her.

    ???????????? ???? ??????????: ??????????????????﹒?????

Exchange, listening in as though it were the most dangerous thing they could do.

“No. A friend of mine is hurt. She’s at the hospital. I’m going to check on her,” Christina said.

Magnus nodded quickly. “Okay. I’ll stay here and watch over things.”

“Good.” Without another word, Christina turned on her heel and walked away with purpose, her steps as quick and precise as ever.

The others stood in stunned silence, watching her leave. Curiosity churned inside them—who could possibly mean so much to her?

But no one dared ask. The question lingered in the air, a soft, teasing itch that wouldn’t be scratched.
