Chapter 1232

    ?Chapter 1232:

    “Davina, are you having fun?”

“Yes, Mommy! It’s so fun! Come sit with me!”

“Alright, darling, move over a little.”

“Mommy! It’s too high! I’m scared!”

“Don’t be afraid, sweetheart. Mommy’s right here.”

The words echoed through her heart like the ghost of a luby. Davina’s eyes shimmered, and tears spilled freely down her cheeks.

“Mom…” Her voice trembled as she reached forward, arms stretching toward an illusion.

But her embrace met only emptiness. She lost her bnce and copsed to the ground.

    The fragile mirage shattered instantly.

The garden was quiet again—no swing, no mother, noughter from herself as a child. Only trees, still and indifferent.

Pain tore through her chest, raw and consuming. Her sobs broke the silence.

“Mom… I came back! I came to take you home! Mom… I miss you so much!”

Her cries bled into the earth as she crouched low, trembling from grief.

Then, slowly, she wiped her tears away. The sorrow in her eyes cooled into determination for revenge.

Her hands tightened into fists. Her voice, though soft, carried fire.

“Mom, I’ll make them pay. Every single one of them. The Murrays destroyed you—and I’ll take back everything they stole. They’ll suffer for what they’ve done.”

She rose, her movements sharp, turning toward the vi with unflinching resolve.

Each step she took struck like a promise—the debt would be collected, no matter the cost.

Inside the living room, the air was heavy with impatience.

“Why is she so slow?” Nelly muttered, ncing nervously toward the entrance. “Will she run off?”

Terence scoffed, his tone dripping with contempt. “She won’t go anywhere. All she wants is our fortune and thefort thates with it.”

Before Nelly could reply, a shadow stretched across the doorway.

Davina stood framed by the sunlight, her figure outlined in gold and defiance.

Terence and Nelly froze for a moment, caught off guard. Then, realizing who she was, they quicklyposed themselves and rushed forward to greet her.

“So, you’re Davina?” Nelly asked with a warm smile, her tone soft and weing as she reached out to take Davina’s hand.

But Davina immediately stepped back, her expression cold, showing clear disgust.
