?Chapter 1184:
Even though he clearly didn’t want to, Brendon had no choice but to stand. The cameras had already zeroed in on him, and the audience was watching his every move. With a stiff expression, he walked toward the stage.
Katie kept her head down, her face burning with shame. She silently prayed the camera wouldn’t catch her.
On stage, Brendon approached Christina, his expression grim. He lowered his voice and asked through gritted teeth, “Was it really necessary to make a scene in front of everyone?”
Christina just shrugged, pletely unfazed. “I don’t even feel a thing. What if you bailed without paying?”
“I’m not saying we won’t pay,” Brendon replied coldly.
“Your words carry no credit,” Christina shot back with a sneer.
Annoyed, Brendon shoved a check into her hand. “Here. We’re done.”
Christina nced down, checked the amount, then smiled. “All good. We’re square.”
Brendon stood there, watching her walk off, his expression tight and bitter. What should’ve been a proud moment for Ynda and the Dawsons had turned into aplete joke.
He turned away from the cameras, his eyesnding cold and sharp on Ynda.
He inhaled deeply, trying to keep his temper in check.
“Brendon… I’m sorry…” Ynda murmured, her eyes red and ssy with tears, her fingers twisting nervously.
“It’s okay,” Brendon said, forcing his voice to stay calm. He gently wiped away her tears and added softly, “Let’s just go home.”
In front of the cameras, he looked like the perfect, loving husband, shielding Ynda as he guided her off the stage.
The livestream was still rolling, catching every second.
???? ???????? ??????’???? ?????????????? ???????? ?????????ν??????.??????
“That’s real love right there. He seriously adores her.”
“To him, Ynda must be perfect. No matter what she does, he still protects and forgives her. So sweet. I wish I had someone like that.”
“Wake up. He’s totally acting. That whole scene was just for show.”
Once again, the broadcast sparked a wildfire ofments and arguments, but the stream was eventually cut.
With the live chat disabled, the online debate spilled over onto social media, where people continued arguing non-stop.
Meanwhile, in the car, Brendon sat in the back seat, arms crossed, lips pressed into a hard line. His whole demeanor was cold and unreadable.
Ynda kept throwing nervous nces his way. He’d never been like this with her before, and that only made her more anxious.
The silence stretched until Brendon finally broke it with a tired voice.
“Do you have anything to say for yourself?”
