    “She’s nothing but a curse. Why are you taking her side? If not for her, your brother wouldn’t be lying here like this!” Joselyn snapped, her eyes zing. Then she jabbed a finger at Ynda and barked, “If anything happens to my son, you’ll answer for it!”

    Katie froze, stunned, before quickly finding her voice again. “Mom, have you fallen under that woman’s spell, too?”


    It was one thing for her grandmother to be influenced by Christina, but now even her own mother seemed to have been brainwashed. Katie simply couldn’t understand how Christina managed to sway not one, but two of her family members.
