?Chapter 1140:
Davina froze, caught off guard as Christina melted into Dn’s arms.
“Hey! What’s wrong with a quick kiss between best friends?” she shot back, brushing off the shock and pointing at Dn.
Dn’s jaw tightened. “Not allowed.”
“Come on!” Davina rolled her eyes, smirking. Then she winked at Christina and pulled a few goofy faces.
Christina’s cheeks flushed. She tried to squirm free, but Dn’s grip was iron-tight—just as she moved, he pulled her back.
Davina looked at them andughed, entertained. “Look at you two—full-on lovebirds. I’m out of here.”
“What’s the hurry? You can stay for dinner,” Christina called after her with a smile.
Davina raised a brow. “Is Dn cooking?”
Christina grinned. “I can cook, if you want.”
“No, not a chance.” Davina waved her hands vigorously.
“Am I that bad?” Christina pretended to be sad.
“Hell no! If you cook, I’m your official taste tester—I’ll eat anything,” Davina said with a grin.
“d you like my cooking so much,” Christina chuckled.
Then Davina spotted the papers Dn held. “Still working? Maybe I can handle dinner?”<fn249e> ???s ??????? ?s ?????? ?? Find[?]ovel</fn249e>
Dn nced at the documents and handed them to Christina.
“What is this? Why give it to me?” Christina frowned.
“I’m transferring everything I own to you,” Dn said quietly.
Christina was stunned. What Dn owned was an entire business empire, far outshining the Dawson family’s assets, and she was already so rich—yet he still wanted to hand over all he had to her. Back then, Brendon hadn’t even bothered with the divorce settlement properly, leaving Christina to walk away with nothing.
“All of a sudden? Why?” she asked, genuinely curious.

Dn’s eyes locked on hers. “So you know I’m serious. I don’t want to lose you.” Since Christina had said yes to him, Dn was determined to offer her his all and his best. He worried that if he hesitated, he might lose her.
“You don’t have to prove it this way,” she said softly.
“Sign it,” Dn urged, holding out the agreement. He wouldn’t rest until she did.
“Don’t you worry I’ll run off with your fortune?” she joked.
“I trust you. And even if you did, I’ll build it back,” he said with quiet confidence.
“I won’t sign,” Christina said gently, pushing the papers away. “I believe you.”
But Dn was firm. He pushed them back.
