Chapter 1079

    ?Chapter 1079:

There was no doubt Judd and his crew would end up in prison, and their families would pay dearly for it. Without their families’ protection, they would have been held ountable a long time ago. The days of their families enjoying the privileges of Lorbridge’s elite had finallye to an end.

“I’m begging you, Miss Jones. Please, have mercy on me this time,” Judd pleaded, bowing low in front of Christina and attempting to clutch her leg. She stepped back, sidestepping him with barely a nce.

Judd’s cronies dropped to their knees and pleaded as well, their voices trembling with fear. “Miss Jones, we realize how wrong we were. Please, just let us off the hook this once.”

Christina stood there, utterly unmoved by their begging. It wasn’t that she was merciless and unwilling to let them off the hook. These vile creatures deserved to rot in the deepest pit of hell for their piles of umted wrongdoings throughout the years. She had no intention of forgiving them, nor did she believe she had the right to do so for those countless victims.

“There’s nothing you can say to change my mind. I won’t forgive any of you. From the looks of it, this isn’t your first time doing something like this. You have only yourselves to me for the consequences you’re facing now,” Christina said, her voice steady as she stared them down.

“If the Gomez family has any business dealings with them, all will be terminated,” Lauretta dered.

“The Norris family will do the same, since we refuse to work with people like this,” Dominic chimed in.

Now that Lauretta and Dominic had both made their positions clear, the guests quickly followed their lead. Those who had ns to partner with Judd and his cronies now wanted nothing to do with them.

Everyone openly distanced themselves, careful not to upset either the Gomez or Norris families.

Judd and his cronies lookedpletely shattered, their faces ashen, as if the life had been drained out of them. They hadn’t just ruined themselves; their families were finished too.

Judd’s face twisted with fury, and his whole body tensed like a coiled spring. Without warning, he shot to his feet and lunged at Christina, his jaw clenched tight and his hands ready to close around her throat. “I’m dragging you down with me!” he shouted.

Christina reacted swiftly, kicking him back before he could reach her. With a sharp, deliberate motion, her high heel mmed into his stomach as if she meant to knock the wind out of him for good.

Judd hit the floor hard, twisting in agony, clutching his middle as pain tore through him. It was unbearable. The pain was so fierce that it nearly stole his breath.

At first, Judd’s cronies had thought abouting after Christina too. Now, after witnessing his fate, everyst one of them froze in ce, fear locking up their bodies and draining the strength from their legs.

Every guest in the room stared at Christina with wide, worried eyes, their hands tightening around their winesses. No one dared to make a sound. No one could wrap their heads around the strength she held. It was unthinkable, the way she sent someone flying while wearing heels. Just picturing the impact sent a chill down everyone’s spine.
