?Chapter 1035:
“You might describe it that way.”.
Terrence’s brow lifted, his grin edged with satisfaction. “But I prefer to be recognized as her man.”.
Then, his tone shifted. Every syble carried a freezing menace. “I don’t mind if you aimed to take Dn’s life, but daring toy a hand on my beloved was unforgivable.”
As those words slid from his lips, a dagger plunged into Fiy’s thigh.
“Ah!”.
Fiy shrieked, writhing in agony, terror flooding him at the shadow of death. He longed to escape, yet ropes bound his limbs tight against the solid chair, leaving him powerless.
Terrence’s eyes were vicious and unyielding, a sinister chuckle escaping as he extended his hand to his subordinate.
The subordinate dutifully presented another dagger.
Terrence toyed with the de idly, his grin never losing that monstrous edge. The more he smiled, the more dreadful he appeared, his stare sinking into a deeper brutality.
Terrence taunted, “The imposter you employed was more fortunate; his end came swifter.”
With that, yet another dagger stabbed into Fiy’s thigh.
“Ah!”.
Fiy howled again, his features twisted and red, his body convulsing faintly. The figure before him drenched him in sheer terror.
Fiy instantly regretted ever arranging that cursed incident. Yet, from what he had uncovered about Christina, aside from her standing and titles, she seemed devoid of remarkable qualities. That was why he felt no hesitation in targeting her life.
“I was wrong! Please show mercy this once. I swear I won’t repeat such a mistake. I’ll do anything possible to atone for what I did to your woman,”.
Fiy begged, tears streaming down his face.

“Apologies mean nothing now!”.
Terrence’s sinister stare narrowed, a cruel curl tugging at his lips. “The moment you schemed against her, your life was already forfeit.”
Another dagger plunged into Fiy’s thigh, followed by strike after strike, until the limb was riddled with bleeding gouges.
Fiy’s screams tore through the air, and whenever his body copsed into unconsciousness, he was forcibly awakened to suffer further torment. He thought these punishments surpassed all cruelty. This man looked determined toce his body with steel, a barbarity beyond imagination.<fn1bba> Chapters first released on ?ovelFind</fn1bba>
But Fiy was gravely mistaken; these torments were only Terrence’s opening act.
Terrence kicked Fiy over, chair and all, and then ground his heel mercilessly into his face.
Fiy’s features throbbed with pain, his breath cut short; every frantic motion only met with harder crushing. Just when suffocation seemed certain, the pressure suddenly lifted, granting him a fleeting gasp of air.
Fiy sucked in ragged breaths, as if life itself had been forced back into his lungs, like he had been born anew.
Yet, in the very next heartbeat, a voice hurled him straight into a living nightmare. “Peel the flesh off his bones, piece by piece.”
