Chapter 828: Chapter 829: Pre-Wedding Unease 4
“Do you like it here? This is the secret garden I’ve specially arranged for you. Inside, there are exactly 9,999 roses and 111 butterflies.”
Both these numbers are very meaningful.
Mo Ran withdrew her finger, and the colorful butterfly flew to another ce, startled.
“Mr. Yuan, I admit, this ce is very beautiful. From a purely appreciative perspective, I like it very much.”
Fujiwara Ize looked straight into her eyes, a hint of allure in his gaze, “So, are you a little moved? I want to hear the truth, your sincere words.”
Mo Ran smiled faintly, “No, I don’t feel moved at all.”
“You’re lying.”
“I’m not lying to you. My heart belongs to my husband. Besides him, I won’t be moved by any other man.”
Fujiwara Ize gazed deeply at her, trying to see through her heart.
Mo Ran calmly met his gaze, but he couldn’t see through her at all.
“Mr. Yuan, I’ve seen what you wanted to show me. I should go now. Goodbye.” Mo Ran turned to leave, but he grabbed her.
She turned back, just about to question him when she noticed a sh of a bewitching light in his eyes. Mo Ran trembled all over, her eyes vacant.
Fujiwara Ize let go of her, his hand gently caressing her chin. Mo Ran did not evade; she had already been hypnotized.
“Tell me, are you a little bit moved by me?” he asked softly, as if whispering to a lover.
Everyone he hypnotized would fall under his control, revealing their innermost thoughts.
Mo Ran responded expressionlessly, “No.”
The man’s hand flung away impulsively, fearing he would crush her chin if he failed to restrain himself.
A sh of malice crossed his eyes. Fujiwara Ize took a deep breath, walked a few steps forward, and moved a pot of roses from the shelf.
He lifted the white tablecloth to reveal a simple piano underneath.
He sat down at the piano, stretched out his long fingers, and lightly yed the white keys. The music of “Castle in the Sky” flowed from his fingertips.
“I’ll y the piano, and you dance a bit, alright?” He smiled at Mo Ran.
“Okay.”
“What should you dance? Just dance your favorite.”
Obediently, Mo Ran started to perform ballet. Her graceful dance, mingling with the butterflies around her, made it seem as if she might turn into a butterfly and fly away at any moment.
Fujiwara Ize watched her in a trance, each note he yed silently hypnotizing Mo Ran.
He could hypnotize people with his eyes and with his music.
