Chapter 1356: Chapter 1369: Building a House

Ye Liang smiled gently, holding Mrs. Wu’s hand andforting her, "Mrs. Wu, you don’t have to me yourself. Actually, it’s not bad here; without them disturbing us, I can take this opportunity to recuperate."
Ye Liang wasn’t wrong. Although she knew martial arts, the original owner’s body was really too weak to allow her to exert her true power.
If Chu Ge discovered something during this period, she wouldn’t have any way to counteract.
So now that they hade to the back mountain, it actually did her a favor. She could now have a good time cultivating and training her body.
Mrs. Wu nced at Chu Ge, then lowered her voice, cautiously saying, "Miss, why did you keep such a mysterious man here? And you’re not married yet, if this leaks out, your reputation will be ruined."
Mrs. Wu looked at Ye Liang worriedly. The reason she said Chu Ge was strange wasn’t just because his clothes were odd; even his speech was strange, speaking anguage she couldn’t understand.
What’s more surprising was that their youngdy could actually understand him, which was really baffling.
Seeing that Mrs. Wu kept dwelling on Chu Ge’s matter, Ye Liang, worried that Mrs. Wu might find something out, quickly said to her, "Mrs. Wu, I’m a bit hungry. Could you help me get something to eat?"
Mrs. Wu looked up, nced at the sky, and calcted the time—it was about time for a meal.
Since they arrived at the back mountain, the kitchen hadn’t brought them food. Every time, Mrs. Wu had to go to the kitchen herself to bring back the meals. Sometimes the kitchen staff would try to bully them and wouldn’t leave them any food, so Mrs. Wu would cook herself at times.
Ye Liang looked around. Although this back mountain wasn’t high, the summit was spacious. It was deste, but not as terrifying as Mrs. Wu previously described.
She rested her chin in her hand, pondering. Every time Mrs. Wu went to fetch meals, she had to climb the mountain and walk such a long distance. It must be tiring. So, she thought about whether she could make use of the open space on the mountain peak.
Moreover, there’s only one broken temple, which isn’t enough for the three of them to rest.
"Hey!"
Ye Liang’s gaze shifted to Chu Ge. "Chu Ge!"
Chu Ge was sitting cross-legged in cultivation. Hearing someone call from behind, he slowly opened his eyes and turned to look at Ye Liang. "What?"
Ye Liang cleared her throat softly and smiled, saying, "Uh, do you know how to build a house?"
Chu Ge frowned, looking at her, not understanding what she meant by asking this.
Ye Liang scratched her head and waited until Mrs. Wu went down the mountain before saying, "I was wondering if we could build another house here. You see, with the three of us living in this one broken temple, it’s really inconvenient."
Chu Ge slightly curled his lips, "I n to leave here today, so you don’t need to trouble yourself."
When Ye Liang heard he was leaving, she was stunned for a moment. She hurriedly stepped forward and said to Chu Ge, "Don’t go, if you leave, I’ll be so lonely here alone."
If he left, she couldn’t perform her y. She came here to watch Chu Ge; her task was to monitor him. If he left, where would she go to monitor him?
Chu Ge sighed, "I have to find the way back; I can’t just sit here and do nothing."
Ye Liang pouted, "Do you think that even if you go out and look around, you can find it? Don’t forget, you fell here; do you think you can find a way back from somewhere else?"
Chu Ge fell silent. He had considered this problem, but no matter how much he thought, he couldn’t find an answer.
Seeing his hesitation, Ye Liang smiled gently and patted Chu Ge on the shoulder, "I said, brother, we are both outcasts of the world. If you leave, leaving me alone here, won’t I be lonely?"
Chu Ge lowered his eyes and nced at Ye Liang’s hand resting on his shoulder. From her demeanor, she did resemble people from his time, not overly concerned with small formalities. He clearly remembered, when he first arrived here and Ye Liang was putting her arm around his shoulder, Liu Mei’er was furious, pointing at her nose and using her of shamelessness.
"You cane with me."
After a moment, Chu Ge spoke.
Ye Liang twitched her lips. She wanted to go with Chu Ge, but could she really leave now? What’s more, if she went with him and halfway he really found a way back, what would she do?
With her current power, she couldn’t defeat Chu Ge.
In Ye Liang’s eyes shed a trace of cunning light. "I know you’re eager to go back; I want to go back too. But we haven’t fully understood what this world is like. From what you said before, we’ve arrived at another time and space, right? Since we’ve reached another time and space, there has to be something connecting us back to our own time, don’t you think?"
Ye Liang tactfully suggested to Chu Ge so as not to arouse his suspicion.
Chu Ge lowered his gaze slightly. He didn’t really have the mind to specte on what was in this world, nor why Ye Liang wasn’t eager to return.
He sighed slightly, "By the way, you mentioned building a house here. Why, do you know how to build a house?"
Ye Liang smiled awkwardly, "I don’t know how to build a house. I’m asking if you do. Since we can’t leave now, why not make our life here a bit morefortable?"
Chu Ge looked at Ye Liang in surprise, feeling that this woman indeed had a good perspective on things.
Ye Liang, feeling his gaze making her nervous, coughed lightly and asked, "Why are you looking at me like that?"
Chu Ge shook his head, "It’s nothing."
Ye Liang pouted. The reason she wanted Chu Ge to build a house here was mainly to keep him busy and get him to stay.
If Chu Ge couldn’t build a house, then wouldn’t her suggestion be for nothing?
"So, can you or can’t you?"
Ye Liang asked curiously.
Chu Ge nodded lightly, "I know a little, but just a little." He said modestly.
Back in the mountains with his master, the houses they lived in were built together by him and his master. If he imed he knew, he really did. But now, without any materials, even with all his skills, he couldn’t conjure up a house for her.
Ye Liang stood up, hands on her hips, looking around. There weren’t many trees on the mountain; it was deste, and the summit was overgrown with weeds. They had cleaned quite a bit in the past few days.
Chu Ge saw her looking troubled and smiled slightly, "It’s actually not that hard. You just need wood."
"Wood?"
Ye Liang was stunned. She thought for a moment but couldn’t think of where to get wood.
