Chapter 1314 - 1327

Chapter 1314: Chapter 1327

Jian Chunqiu cleared his throat and said, "You’ve be a bit more humane, and that’s a good start."

Chu Ge was taken aback, then thought about the recent events. He didn’t really feel he had be more humane; he just felt he had gained some memories, bing somewhat sentimental.

Jian Chunqiu raised his hand and patted his shoulder, saying, "I’m telling you, figure out your feelings sooner rather thanter, then find someone to marry. This way, even if your master is watching from heaven, he won’t keep ming me."

Chu Ge chuckled, "What, did you dream about my master again?"

Jian Chunqiu nodded and sighed, "Yes, recently he’s been appearing in my dreams, saying I should help find you a wife."

Chu Ge heard this and thought, this old fellow, here we go again.

"Alright, let’s hurry up and pack our things to get going."

Chu Ge didn’t want to continue discussing this, so he walked over to Ming Chong. He noticed Ming Chong’s curious eyes looking around without any sign of fear, and he felt a bit relieved.

However, he was still a bit worried about whether Ming Chong could handle it when the ne took off.

Yet, after boarding the ne, Chu Ge realized his worries were unnecessary.

Ming Chong wasn’t afraid of flying at all; in fact, she was so excited she couldn’t sit still.

On the ne, Chu Ge sat with his eyes closed, resting.

Lin Dong and Long Ang were sitting behind Chu Ge, chatting with each other.

Lin Dong asked, "Are we flying directly to the Man Yue n this time?"

Long Ang shook his head, saying, "Probably not. From what I understand, the Man Yue n lives in the mountains and forests, and their lifestyle is still from ancient times. Unlike our advanced technology here, it’s said that over there, you have to trek over mountains to make a phone call."

"What are we going there for?"

Lin Dong couldn’t figure out what they were going to do there.

"I don’t really know either, but since even you and I were called, something important must be happening. We just need to follow along. When there’s something for us to do, they’ll let us know."

Lin Dong responded with an "oh", his inherently curious nature leading him to ask one question after another, never ending.

"Just hearing the name Man Yue n, it feels ancient and enchanting. I imagine the ce must be picturesque, with breathtakingndscapes."

    Lin Dong fantasized aloud.

Sitting nearby, Jian Chunqiu couldn’t help but chuckle, saying, "You kid, you sure know how to fantasize. Although that’s how it sounds, their houses there do have distinctive features. Unlike ours, living there can cultivate the body and mind, and bring peace."

Lin Dong looked at Jian Chunqiu curiously and asked, "Master, have you been there?"

Jian Chunqiu smiled; not only had he been there, but he had stayed for a period, experiencing an old romance. But those were long-buried memories, and now, returning there, he felt a subtle sense of returning home.

He didn’t respond to Lin Dong and instead closed his eyes, preparing to rest for a while.

Seeing Jian Chunqiu not answering, Lin Dong felt bored. He stood up and nced at Chu Ge, who was also asleep.

Feeling very bored, Lin Dong wanted to chat with Long Ang, but since Long Ang was reading, he felt embarrassed to disturb him. He didn’t know the other people who hade with Jian Chunqiu, and directly striking up a conversation wouldn’t be appropriate.

Only Ming Chong was left alone, but as he nced at her, he thought better of it.

He didn’t want Ming Chong to dislike him even more.

Lin Dong grumpily sat down, feeling more and more wronged the more he thought about it. He had already tried his best to be good and not make Ming Chong angry, going along with her in everything, yet she still didn’t like him.

He wasn’t using the body wash Ming Chong disliked anymore, and had even used the perfume Chu Ge frequently wore, but Ming Chong still didn’t like him.

Could it really be that he’s just that unlikeable?

Lin Dong leaned back in his chair, looking up, feeling more and more frustrated.

He wasn’t even sure how long he had been flying before he slowly fell asleep leaning against the chair back.

When he awoke, it was already dark outside. Through the ss window, he could see the clouds outside glowing red, breathtakingly beautiful.

Lin Dong nced around. There were nearly a dozen people with them this time. He didn’t know why Jian Chunqiu had called so many people, but it must be very important.

Otherwise, most of the Sect’s most reliable members wouldn’t have been called to participate.

Lin Dong thought to himself, looking at some people asleep and others reading newspapers, the surroundings very quiet.

    "Awake."

Long Ang nced at Lin Dong, noticing the sleepiness still lingering on his face, and said, "It’s still early. If you’re tired, you can sleep a bit longer."

Lin Dong shook his head, "No more sleep. How much longer until we arrive?"

His legs were almost numb from sitting.

    "Another two hours, I think."

Long Ang nced at his watch, swept his gaze around, and uncertainly asked, "Elder Jian, do we have two more hours until we arrive?"

Jian Chunqiu was reading a newspaper. He nodded lightly, said "Hmm," and added, "That’s right."

Lin Dong stood up, wanting to stretch a bit. Suddenly the ne jolted, scaring him into quickly sitting back down and fastening his seatbelt.

The other passengers were also startled.

Chu Ge instinctively furrowed his brows. Ming Chong, who was asleep beside him, was suddenly startled awake by the jolt.

While everyone was nervously wondering what was happening, a crisp voice came over the broadcast.

"Attention passengers, we’ve encountered a lightning storm ahead and need to make an emergencynding. Please forgive the inconvenience."

Chu Ge furrowed his brow as he looked out the window at the dark mass of clouds ahead, which looked quite terrifying, with shes of lightning inside.

The ne was jolting even more violently. Ming Chong leapt from her seat in fright.

Chu Ge quickly calmed her, and Ming Chong leaned into his arms, clinging to his leg tightly with both arms.

Ming Chong was most afraid of lightning; she seemed to have a shadow over it. As long as she saw lightning, she’d be terrified.

The ne managed to make an emergencynding on a small town airstrip, and oncended, everyone disembarked and went to a temporary rest area.

Chu Ge noticed that among their group, it seemed like everyone was headed to the Man Yue n.

And the people who had boarded with them earlier weren’t on the ne at all.

Chu Ge furrowed his brows sharply, feeling something was amiss.

"Uncle Jian, why are only we on the ne?"

Chu Ge walked over to Jian Chunqiu and asked curiously.

Jian Chunqiu didn’t answer directly but stood with his hands behind his back in front of the window, furrowing his brows as he looked outside, feeling that the view seemed somewhat familiar.
